Hey you dear ones, I am Susanne, 37, and would be very happy if you would accompany me on my first, self-planned sailing trip in the Dodecanese. Don't worry, I don't sail, but I already have a skipper who will guide us safely through the area and teach us how to sail. I love the sea, the freedom at sea and the feeling of waking up every morning in a different place/bay. Are you with us? ⛵ The stops are only optional, when sailing we always depend on the current weather conditions. I am looking for an adventurous, open minded crew to spend an unforgettable time with me in Greece. Breakfast & lunch snack is on the boat, in the evening we can go ashore for dinner or cook on the boat. COSTS included: - Space in shared berth for 1 week (Saturday - Saturday). - Dinghy (dinghy) + outboard motor - marina costs on arrival/departure - Towels and bed linen - final cleaning OWNERSHIP - board cash approx. 200 € / 1 week - Land cash for possible excursions - Journey/insurance You don't need any sailing experience, but I assume that we all pull together on board. We live in a very confined space and therefore a harmonious togetherness is especially important to me. Every participant has to do his part to make sure that we have an unforgettable time (helping with sailing, docking, cooking, etc.). Are you with us? Then write me a message with some information about you and why you want to be part of my sailing trip! I am looking forward to an unforgettable adventure with you. Best regards Susanne

Trip Itinerary

Kos

Day 1-2
Meeting point: from 14 o'clock in the Marina Kos city. Then it's time to go shopping for a whole week for about 7-8 people. The whole thing is already paid from the board cash, whereby the costs for the skipper are co-financed by the crew. After shopping everything is stowed and then there is already the first safety briefing by the skipper. The first evening will be spent in a restaurant. We will stay the first night in the marina before it is then Sunday morning the first time: set sail The itinerary always depends on the weather and what the crew would like to experience. Here we will trust in the experience of the skipper. The route given here is only one option.

Kalimnos

Day 2-3
Let's go. Cast off and sail out... After breakfast we go to the first bay. There is time for relaxing, swimming, snorkeling, etc.. After a small lunch snack, the bay is visited for the overnight stay.
3

LEROS MARINA

Day 3-4
About 8000 inhabitants live on Leros. The main town is Agia Marina, which merges seamlessly into Platanos. The town is crowned by the imposing 14th century fortress built by the Knights of St. John. During the Italian occupation, Leros was Italy's most important naval base in the Aegean. In March 1943, the island was massively bombed by German planes, after which it was hotly contested between the British and Germans. A military cemetery on the outskirts of the seaside resort of Alinda holds the victims of the Allies. In the harbor village of Lakki, there are a number of architecturally interesting buildings in the Bauhaus style, among others, which were built during the Italian occupation in the 1930s. Tourism plays only a minor role on Leros. However, the island's capital Agia Marina/Platanos is quite attractive. Below a mighty castle of St. John on a steep rock, it stretches from the bay of Alinda, with its beach shaded by tamarisk trees, down a mountain saddle to the bay of Pandeliou.
4

Lipsi

Day 4-5
In the southeast of the Aegean Sea, north of Leros and east of Patmos, a small strip of land surrounded by 24 islets, forming a glittering necklace, awaits us for a dream vacation. It is about Lipsi - the mythical island of Ogygia- the island of the goddess Kalypso.
5

Patmos

Day 5-6
Despite its small size, Patmos is one of the more important islands in the Aegean Sea: the presumed site of the creation of the Revelation of John, it is the location of one of the most important monasteries of the Greek Orthodox Church and is connected to the rest of Greece by several highly frequented ferry lines. Patmos is considered the 'Holy Island' and is the destination of several major annual pilgrimages by devout Orthodox Christians.
6

Levitha

Day 6-7
Levitha and its island Kinaros - located about ten nautical miles to the west - are about halfway between Amorgos in the west and Leros or Kalymnos. It is inhabited by one or two families who run an ever-praised taverna here in the season and also rent out the buoys.
7

Kos

Day 7-8
Today we are going back to the marina in Kos. The last night will be spent in the marina before it's time to get off the boat by 9:00 am on Saturday! I look forward to an unforgettable trip with you.
