Hello everyone, I am very excited that you are considering to go on this trip with me! First of all I would like to introduce myself a bit: I am Marija, I am 23y old from Croatia. I have traveler throughout all of western and Central Europe, plus recently I even got my second continent on the list. All-in-all, I have already visited 17 countries and lived in 3 I have done dozens of solo trips, but I have also planned and executed a couple of group trips with my friends. What I expect of this trip is that in the same measure we see historical places, learn something new trough guided tours, but also to have fun and to have a weekend to remember! We will be staying in the traditionally built Abrazo Villas in Imerovigli Village that offers a shared pool. They feature fully equipped and tastefully decorated accommodation with the Aegean Sea and pool views. Free WiFi access is available. Fitted with built-in sofas and Coco-mat linen, all air-conditioned apartments of Abrazo open to a furnished terrace or balcony. Each consists of 1 or 2 separate bedrooms, a seating area with flat-screen and a satellite TV. A hairdryer and bathrobes are included. Guests may relax on the sun loungers of the sun terrace by the pool. Other facilities like a tour desk, luggage storage and laundry facilities are offered. Imerovigli Village can be reached within short walking distance, and Fira Town is a 5-minute drive away. Skaros is 1.3 km away. Santorini (Thira) Airport is located 5 km from the accommodation. The property offers free private parking.

Abrazo 8 Villas

Day 1

Offering a shared pool, the traditionally built Abrazo Villas are in Imerovigli Village. They feature fully equipped and tastefully decorated accommodation with the Aegean Sea and pool views. Imerovigli

Day 1

After we all arrive to the accommodation we will take the walk towards Thira and on our way we will pass by Church of the Resurrection of the Lord. A Greek orthodox church with a blue dome and bell tower with 3 bells, Imerovigli village, Thira, Santorini. After that we will continue towards Thira and see a lot of famous places on our way, and we can take a lot of photos.

Day 1-2

ITINERARY After being picked up from our villa, we will be taken straight to the port. On-board, we will have an opportunity of the snorkeling with a half-hour stop off the coast of Red Beach, plus 1.5 hours to snorkel in the sea caves of White Beach. Also, we will bathe in the lagoon’s hot springs and snorkel in clear waters. Continue past the two uninhabited volcano islands of Palia Kameni and Nea Kameni and other sights such as Aspronisi island and the Akrotiri lighthouse. Later the cruise sails in the caldera below the town of Fira and past the old port. The last stop is below the village of Oia where we will watch striking sunset lights adorning the skies with vibrant, pastel colors. This is sure to be an unforgettable highlight to an already unforgettable cruise experience. At the end of your Santorini excursion, relax as your minibus driver conveniently drops you back at your hotel. FOOD On board, we will have a menu of local Santorini delicacies for dinner, with meat and vegetarian options. The menu includes barbecue skewers, dolmadakia (rice-stuffed vine leaves), Greek salad, and other local dishes. Post-meal cocktail and music, unlimited drinks on board, including local white wine, Greek beer, and soft drinks.

Oia

Day 2-3

On our last day after the check-out, which has to be before 11, we will take a trail trip (walking) from Imerovigli to Oia. This is around 2.5h long trail path with a lot of photo and rest stops. Alternatively, those who do not walk to there can take a bus, which is about 2 euros. When we get to Oia there we will take a stop to go for lunch and cliff jumping at tiny port of Ammoudi and/or swimming either on a beach or to the Lioyerma public pool which is free. After that, we will say our goodbyes.
