I'm sure you're always looking for unique trips and adventures 🌎 I might have something for you: Do you feel like an exciting sailing trip on a great catamaran from island to island in Greece? Find the most beautiful places to dive, anchor in secluded bays off uninhabited islands and sleep out on deck under the stars! If you're lucky, you'll even catch a fish and watch dolphins. On our adventure travel you can connect with like-minded globetrotters and share your experiences and learn something from the others while traveling! 🚀 Athens is the optimal starting point for a trip to the Saronic Islands, located southwest of the Greek Capital of Culture. The region is very weather stable in July with lukewarm nights, low waves and bright blue skies during the day. The Saronic Sea offers beautiful empty sandy beaches on a variety of small Mediterranean islands. We are cruising on a brand new Lagoon 380 (38 foot catamaran). This boat has plenty of room for eight people with 4 spacious bedrooms each, a salon with kitchen, sofa and stereo, lounge outside and a net trampoline to relax on in the front area. A catamaran is super relaxing, it rocks very little, so you don't have to worry about seasickness :-) For fun besides sailing, we bring a total of 2 stand-up paddle boards, snorkel sets and a projector for beach cinema. And who am I? I am your skipper Ben. With a buddy I sailed around the world for almost 5 years. On our trip we experienced a lot, met great people and made a lot of music (we are musicians and studied sound engineers). We filmed the whole thing and our travel documentary "Blown Away" was shown in many German cinemas in 2019. So, be there! The Marina Alimos (Kalamaki) will be our starting point. We will give you a small tour of our new home (a Lagoon 380 catamaran), you can move into your bunks and make yourselves comfortable. Then we'll go shopping together so we can all cook our favorite meals during the week (and want for nothing else) and in the evening we'll cook something delicious together and enjoy delicious Greek wine and tzatziki. Life on board is real teamwork, one of the best things about sailing! At the beginning no one knows each other, but quickly you become a well-oiled crew of explorers who stick together. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The Marina Alimos (Kalamaki) will be our sailing launch point. After a hearty and healthy breakfast, we cast off and set sail for Aigina! Tradition derives the name from Aegina, the mother of the hero Aeacus, who was born on the island and became its king. During the ancient times Aegina was a rival of Athens, the great naval power of the era. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ After a rich and healthy breakfast we untie the bow lines and hoist the sails for Aigina!
