A little bit about me: I'm Romina, 31 years old and totally dedicated to traveling! The passion has always been in me, but it has only become very intense and much in recent years! I work full-time and take every opportunity to travel and get as much out of my vacations as possible. I just love discovering new places and taking photos, which brings us to my second passion, namely photography. Day 1-2
Arrive Juan Santamaria International Airport and experience the sights and sounds of Costa Rica’s capital city, San Jose. Let's get to know each other and have a welcome meeting before having a delicious dinner. 🏠  Please check out the pictures for the accommodation

Blue Falls of Costa Rica

Day 2-3
 📍 Poas - Blue Falls - La Fortuna Today we will drive all the way to the top of one of Costa Rica’s most active volcanoes to witness the world’s largest geyser bubbling in front of our eyes. We will then explore pristine blue waterfalls within the lush forest on our way to La Fortuna. 🏠  Please check out the pictures for the accommodation

La Fortuna

Day 3-4
 📍 La Fortuna - El Salto, Eden Organic Chocolate Farm (and coffee) Visit the local watering hole, named el salto, meaning the jump, where you can jump into natural pools off of rock walls and swing like tarzan into the river. In the afternoon we will visit an organic family run chocolate farm where we will get to discover the entire process of two of the worlds best drugs: coffee and chocolate.

La Fortuna

Day 4-5
 📍 La Fortuna - Mistico Hanging Bridges - Arenal Volcano, Lava Fields Hike Enjoy a beautiful nature walk through the lush Costa Rican rainforest, offering breathtaking views of the Arenal Volcano and the surrounding landscape from suspended bridges. Once back on the ground, we will hike through the rugged lava fields of the Arenal Volcano, offering stunning views of the volcano and the surrounding rainforest.

Río Celeste

Day 5-6
 📍 Rio Celeste After a beautiful 1.5-hour scenic drive from the Arenal Volcano area, we will arrive at Rio Celeste national park near the Tenorio and Miravalles Volcanoes. We will hike through the dense, lush, tropical rainforest before arriving where two rivers meet and you can witness the celestial turquoise blue watercolor that comes from the waterfall. *Please note: The Río Celeste blue waterfall may lose its blue color during rainstorms. If there is a lot of rain, we will swap in another hike and visit a hot river for a relaxing soak in the rainforest.

Monteverde

Day 6-7
 📍 Monteverde - Zipline and Night Walk Today we will cross Lake Arenal by boat and drive up the mountain to Monteverde. Fly through the cloud forest on thrilling ziplines before embarking on a night hike in the cloud forest to discover cool nocturnal creatures like two-toed sloths, snakes, tarantulas, sleeping birds, walking stick bugs, and other interesting creatures you’ve never heard of! 🏠  Please check out the pictures for the accommodation

Nosara

Day 7-8
📍 Cloud Forest Reserve - Nosara Join your naturalist guide for an early morning walk through Monteverde’s private reserve for your chance to see birds, sloths, and agoutis, and learn about the wonders of the cloud forest. After our hike we will then head onwards to Samara beach. 🏠  Please check out the pictures for the accommodation

Nosara

Day 8-9
📍 Nosara Nosara offers something for everyone, from world-class surfing and yoga to stunning beaches and lush jungles, making it a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. With its friendly locals and laid-back vibe, Nosara is a great place to unwind and immerse oneself in the pura vida lifestyle while exploring the natural wonders of this beautiful region. Note: Turtles nest at Ostional (1 hour, 10 minutes from Samara year round, but peak time is from August through December. Arribadas occur regularly once, sometimes even twice a month, and the numbers of nesting females are in the range of hundreds of thousands as opposed to tens of thousands for the dry season months.

Day 9-10
Today is the last day of our trip, we will be heading to the airport before heading to the airport to bid each other our final farewell. If you want to extend or join another trip please let me know ;)
