You break for lunch at the Utamaduni - Verandah restaurant (paid direct as per the client’s choice of menu). Some shopping around. Visit the Karen Blixen museum, the house in the movie out of Africa. Visit the kazuri beads enroute. Visit Bomas Of Kenya – Nairobi Tribal Tour Place named a tourist village in Langata, Nairobi. Bomas (homesteads) displays traditional villages belonging to the several Kenyan tribes. Enjoy local tradition dances and acrobats and clients join as well in celebration of local culture ! Day 1
6am – 10am: Nairobi National Park Tour – Enjoy wildlife game viewing at Nairobi National park with close luck of lions and rhino among other animals. We’ll pick you up for the short journey to the Nairobi National park. Your short wildlife safari is in the comfort of a private pop-top 4×4 Jeep. Arriving in Nairobi National Park, you’ll quickly see how unique this special reserve is. Within sight of the city’s skyline you can spot lion, rhino, giraffe, buffalo, cheetah, hyena, zebra and much more.

Giraffe Centre
Day 1
1200 – 1300hrs: Visit the Giraffe Centre where you feed the friendly Rothschild Giraffe. They accept a kiss as they pick their food from your palms! Stop over at some shopping areas enroute. At the Giraffe Centre, you’ll get up close and personal with endangered Rothschild Giraffes. The center, started by the Africa Fund for Endangered Wildlife in 1979, is devoted to the preservation of these beautiful, lanky creatures.

The Utamaduni Restaurant at Bomas of Kenya will wow your palate with a rich menu of unique cultural foods from different communities of the country. Sumptuous meals ranging from local barbecue (nyamachoma); Kenya’s staple food ugali (maize porridge); and community specific specialties (the Gikuyu mukimo/potatoes specialty; the Abagusii matoke/plantain bananas; the Abaluhya traditional ingokho/chicken and green vegetables, etc.);to fish and chips…are all at your disposal at pocket friendly prices. Olepolos Country Club is a hangout joint located along Magadi Road in Kajiado County, Kenya. It is widely known for its ‘nyama choma’ (grilled meat), though it has more to offer, as witnessed on my visit. It is an ideal day getaway location far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Olepolos Being in the outcast of Nairobi the most refreshing place to be, a place where one can fully connect with a loved one or family just to unwind because there are zero destruction. We check out after breakfast and head to the City. This marks the end of our city tour and weekend getaway experience.
