The island of Rhodes has a lot to offer from a historical and natural point of view. Did you know that in the last century, it was an Italian colony? Over the years there have been different influences by many populations and we will discover the intriguing history of the island together. If the weather permits, we will also take the opportunity to swim in the sea 🌊. We will drive through roads with magnificent views and we will stop to take beautiful hiking routes, reach castles on the hills, or be immersed in nature. We will stay in a comfortable apartment 🏨, located in the city of Archangelos, near beautiful beaches 🏖️. What's included in the price: - Accommodation 🏡. - Car renting 🚗. Francesco is very friendly & jovial person who is flexible in terms of schedule of the trip. Ours is a well organised trip, where he made a list of all the good attractions to see in each place we were visiting with perfect schedule and we are glad that we were able to cover all of them. Personally, i am looking forward for his future trips.
During first day we will meet at the accomodation and after a short walk in the cities streets we will relax, preparing for the next day. We can discuss on how to reach the accomodation from airport in the best way possible.

Lindos
Day 2
The second day we will take the car early morning and leave Rhodes to visit the magnificent agropolis of Lindos.This is a natural citadel which was fortified successively by the Greeks, the Romans, the Byzantines, the Knights of St John and the Ottomans.

Seven Springs
Day 2
Seven Springs (Epta Piges) offers a cool, magical landscape, a real oasis. Water flows out of the springs all year around, which is forming a small lake. The lake remains replenished thanks to a dam built by the Italians. If we are adventurous enough, we can to walk through the 186 meters long and 2.5 meters high and very narrow dark tunnel to get to the lake, that is also is also suitable for swimming.

Rhodes
Day 2-3
In the evening we will go around visiting new streets in Rhodes, maybe we can chose together where to eat, spending the night relaxing in a pub. We will rest for waking up early for the next day.

Butterflies Valley
Day 3
This green valley is nice for an easy nature walk and has a small Natural History Museum worth checking out. The 1 km route that composes the Butterfly Valley is beautifully organized with wooden bridges over pools and falls of water, paved footpaths, and little benches to enjoy the scenery.

Kritinia Castle
Day 3
Erected in 1472 according to the project of the Venetian sculptor and architect Giorgio da Sebenico – also known as Giorgio Orsini – the Castle of Kritinia, or Kastellos as the locals call it, is a spectacular fortress built to protect the village from attacks by the Ottomans. Kritinia Castle is 131 meters above sea level. It is not difficult to reach it and the effort will be well rewarded by the incredible panorama of Kritinia, the sea, the island of Calchi and some islets near Rhodes.

Castle of Monolithos
Day 3
The castle of Monolithos was built on the foundations of another, older castle, and lies about 236m high on an amazingly difficult natural terrain, which made its construction even more challenging, near the village of Monolithos. Today only some external parts of the fortifications remain, but they are in a quite well reserved condition. But what also makes it worth embarking on an arduous attempt to climb the steep hill, are the magnificent churches, the two 15th century chapels of St. Panteleimon and St. George and the breathtaking view of the mountain of Akramytis, the village of Monolithos right below it, the island Halki and of course the vast Aegean Sea. The scenery while driving to the castle is one of the most beautiful on the island, it it is well worth making some stops to admire the landscape and the views towards the smaller islands and islands close to Rhodes.

Day 3-4
After the exhaustive day, we can dinner out looking for some local food restaurant. The next day we will visit the city of Rhodes. We can organize the city itinerary freely according to the preferences of the group.

Day 4-5
After dropping the car, we will dedicate the last full day to visit Rhodes city. There are several churches, sculptures, museums to visit and if the weather is good there is a beach with a trampoline in the middle of the sea where we can have fun.

On the day of departure we will organize the day according to the flight schedule. We'll visit the parts of the city we haven't seen and arrange for airport transportation. We can also go to the beach if the weather is good!
