Guided trip
Hello travelers, my name is Dismas. I am passionate about mountains; I am worked as a Kilimanjaro guide since 2001 and have climbed the mountain more than 250 times leading Climbing Machame route, which is the most popular route on Mount Kilimanjaro. It is the route of choice for many people because it provides impressive views and a variety of habitats. About 50% of all climbers, and most seasoned climbers, choose the Machame route for their trip. It is also one of the cheaper routes due to its easy access and shorter itinerary. The Machame route is also known as the Whiskey route, given its reputation for being a tough climb, in contrast to the easier Marangu route, which is known as the Coca Cola route. Unlike the gradual incline and hut accommodations found on the Marangu Route, the climbers on Machame hike steeper trails, for longer distances, while sleeping in tents. Join any of our daily departures to enjoy this most scenic route for a lifetime adventure Pricing includes: - All park fees (entry fees, camping fees, rescue fees) - All equipment for the climb; Tents, chairs, tables, mess tent, cooking tent, mattresses for clients, forks, knives, plates, cooking gas, lamps (Everything to guarantee good quality and successful climb) - Oxygen, pulse oximeter - All meals for clients and porters for the duration of the climb - All wages for porters, guides, and cooks at authority-recommended wages - All transport costs for the organization of the climb and preparation and any cost related to the climb/porters/food, etc. - Meeting with client 1 day prior to the climb for briefing - All transfers from Hotels to park gates and from airport to hotel - Private chemical toilet - Two nights hotel accommodations at Salinero Hotel in Moshi (1 before + 1 after the climb) - 2 pairs of walking poles, 2 sleeping mattresses - Guides Pricing does not include:- - Tipping of guides, porters, cooks… See you in Tanzania!
