Starting in Korfu, we will sail to Albania and explore the coast and anchorages of this relatively off the beaten path onboard a comfortable sailing yacht that has just sailed around the world with its longtime skipper who is happy to lead you to new adventures. My sailing yacht Free Spirit is equipped with many nice toys like a SUP and a watermaker that makes life on the sea comfortable and chill. We will do a good mix of swimming around the boat in anchorages, visiting 1-2 island towns and explore there, visiting beach bars and Tavernas and maybe take a scooter to drive around an island. We will pool about 200 Euros per person at the start of the trip for the "crew kitty" to get food and drinks for the week and for marina fees and for re-fueling the boat at the end of the trip.
About Me! I am a 37-year-old German journalist who quit his job to sail around the world. I have also worked as a yacht skipper as a side job for 10+ years. I have also a masters degree in Political Science and Sociology. I am easygoing and uncomplicated as a person.
The boat has 4 double cabins. You share your cabin usually with another crew member of the same sex unless you want it differently. We also have 2 mattresses to sleep on deck and 2 hammocks. We have two bathrooms. In the middle of the boat is the salon with kitchen and big table with sofa area to hang out, cook and eat. Any questions about the trip? Dubrovnik
Day 1-2
We start our sailing trip with provisioning the boat for the week with a big supermarket-run because "out there" in the islands there is nothing to be found. After this and safety and general introductions to the boat, we stroll through the old town of Dubrovnik in the evening.

Lastovo
Day 2-5
Lastovo is a nature park and a really green island with several perfectly enclosed calm bays. One leads to some old bunker ruins and watch towers we can explore in a little hike - and watch the sunset from the hilltop. One day later we continue to nearby Susak island. It does not get more remote than this. Beyond Susak only lies the open Adriatic sea with Italy on the other side. The lighthouse is a short walk away from the anchorage. Even in high season not many boats venture out this far so it will be a rather exclusive anchorage to swim around the boat in, near impressive stone cliffs.

Hvar
Day 5-6
After a few days in the wild on the green outsr islands, we will sail to Hvar and enjoy the bars of this bustling hip island town. Just walking around the palm-fringed harbor promenade to do some people and boat watching is entertainment too, the view over the bay from above town stunning too.

Split
Day 6-7
At the end of our trip, we arrive in the coastal metropolis of Split which is not only famous for its soccer club but also for its nightlife. After sailing in from the islands south of Split, we enjoy the old town and dive into the masses with a bit of bar-hopping - or we chill on the boat and enjoy the harbor scene, as we like.
