Guided trip
Hello from Nepal, I am Prakash who is your trip leader. I will be assisting you throughout your trip. Ghorepani Poonhill trekking is one of the most widely sought-after activities in Nepal. The Annapurna region has one of the most immersive experiences. Known for its beauty, serene landscapes, and rich heritage, Nepal is a destination for those seeking more than just adventure. Being the birthplace of Lord Buddha, but home to Hindus and Buddhists alike, Nepal is a melting pot of rich culture, religion, and history all set on the awe-inspiring backdrop of the Himalayas. The religious harmony in this country has provided iconic and various UNESCO-listed World Heritage Sites such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Monkey Temple, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath. Visiting the famous Durbar Square is an introduction to the ancient civilizations of the Middle Ages and offers insights into the storied history of Buddhism and Hinduism, seen throughout the country. Flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara is one of the most scenic ways to see Nepal. All of these sights allow you to explore the historic side of Nepal and also see how the country has changed over time. The lakeside city is also a beautiful site to see here. It is known for its serenity and being home to the trekkers of the world. The tranquil city is surprisingly renowned for its adventure activities. Mountain biking, paragliding, and small aircraft are all easily accessible here. Or if rest and relaxation are needed, Pokhara is an ideal place. Walk around the lakeside, and enjoy the spectacular views of Mount Machhapuchre. Another great site is Poonhill, it is filled with the finest mountain sceneries, as well as it could be a good warm-up for any other high Trek. The trek starts after an hour and a half drive from Pokhara city and ascends through the hill villages to reach Phedi. Crossing different villages like Landruk, Pothana, and Tolga, it has a great mountain viewpoint in the middle of a beautiful forest ridge that is spectacular. Crossing the suspension bridge at Modi Khola (river) and then passing through several waterfalls, streams, and dense forests before you reach Ghorepani. After Ghorepani, you climb up to the famous Poon Hill to watch the first grand Himalayan panorama at 3210 meters. Upon completion of the Poonhill trek, it is time to relax in Pokhara. Or, if you don’t want to relax, you can engage in various adventure activities. One great thing about Himalayan Circuit is that it uses Yeti, the first carbon-neutral airline in Nepal. It only partners with companies that are dedicated to sustainable travel and tourism Trekking Highlights: - Ghorepani Poonhill Trek - Soft Trekking route in Annapurna - Panoramic view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalaya ranges - Trekking through Gurung and Magar community - Sunrise view from Poonhill - The highest altitude gained 3210m - Adventure of crossing the 3500 stone steps in Ulleri Itinerary: Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Day 02: Flight to Pokhara – Drive to Nayapul – Trek to Tikhedhunga Day 03: Tikhedhunga – Ghorepani Day 04: Ghorepani – Ghandruk Day 05: Ghandruk – Pokhara Day 06: Drive back to Kathmandu Day 07: Cultural Sightseeing in Kathmandu: Pashupathinath tour, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambunath Day 08: Boudhanath tour and Departure Included in the price: - Airport Pickup and transfer to the Hotel - Double Room accommodation with Breakfast in Kathmandu and Pokhara - English Speaking Tour Guide in Kathmandu - Entrance fees to all Cultural Heritage sites and Temples - All transportation in the destination location - Private vehicle for ground transportation in Kathmandu and Pokhara - Kathmandu – Pokhara domestic flight - TIMS and Annapurna trekking permit - Trekking Guide - Guide salary remunerations and insurance - Three meals a day during the trek (choice of one portion from the menu) - Pokhara – Kathmandu by Tourist Bus - Government tax - Airport transfer upon completion of the program Excluded: - Any bar bills - Client’s personal insurance and any kind of unforeseen expenses - Nepal Visa fees - Lunch and Dinner in Kathmandu and Pokhara - Extra meals during the trek, other than those mentioned in the itinerary
