Trip Itinerary

Rua Fernão de Ornelas

Day 1
The Day of Arrival! During our visit, the Airbnb has shared bedrooms and is close to the seafront. The day will be mainly spent going for walks about the city, getting to know one another, having a Portuguese dinner together,🥂 and getting ready for the activities for the days ahead!

Santana Cable Car

Day 1-2
One of Madeira's most well-known, with typical views is Rocha do Navio. It has everything, including impressive cliffs, a cable car, lush farms, turquoise water, and a waterfall. Additionally, on clear days, views extend all the way to Madeira's volcanic tail, Ponta de Sao Lourenço. Taking the cable car here will allow us to stroll and unwind by the river while taking a view from above.

Curral das Freiras

Day 2-3
One of Madeira's most stunning valleys is Curral das Freiras. The high cliffs and lofty mountains that surround it create a cauldron-like scene. You can either descend to the village or watch it from one of two vantage points above the valley. Despite being a remote location, it has a lengthy history and was first used to defend against pirates. Its name means Valley of the Nuns, and it is famous for its chestnut.

Cape Girão

Day 3-4
It's time to take a boat ride around Camara's coastline and enjoy a comfortable cruise along the south coast of Madeira Island. On this tour, we will sail a few miles out of Funchal looking for all kinds of wildlife such as dolphins, whales, turtles, and endemic birds.

Pico do Arieiro

Day 4-5
This will be an impressive hike. It connects Pico do Areeiro to Pico Ruivo the 3rd and 1st highest peaks on the Madeira island. The peaks and sharpness of the cliffs drop straight down around you. We'll be trekking through the mountain.

PR8 Vereda da Ponta de São Lourenço

Day 5-6
The best location on the island to view Madeira's volcanic origin is Ponta de Sao Louranço. You stroll along the well-known "dragon tail" of Madeira, surrounded by bare landscapes and colorful rocks. Along the hike, there are numerous viewpoints during the climb that offer breathtaking views of the sea or the island.

Day 6-7
➤ 180° views of the mountains and the Ribeira Brava valley, the ER228 is one of the island's most picturesque roads, and this halt is ideal. ➤ We'll also visit Ponta de Sao Lourenço is one of the best famous hikes on the Madeira, having just a more volcanic cliff view.

Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools

Day 7-8
The volcanic natural ponds of Porto Moniz are a major draw. People enjoy the most notoriety on the island. The place is ideal for swimming, and the views are mesmerizing. And it's such a relaxing place to swim.

Day 8
Lastly, we'll explore One of the most stunning and picturesque tourist destinations in Madeira, the town of Seixal. It is home to luxuriant mountains, sheer cliffs, a lava arch at The Seixal Nature Pools, and a black sand beach. After a delicious breakfast in our cherished beach villa, everyone is free to travel according to his/her own schedule. Whether that is to head straight to the airport or wait a few more hours.
