Trip Itinerary

Byblos
Day 1-2
On 14 April our trip is going to begin 🚗 I will pick you up from the airport if you arrive early in the morning and we will head to the guest house in Byblos 📍 where we will be staying for 3 nights. We are going to check in into our rooms, settle down and then go out to discover the Phoenician city, BYBLOS 🧐 During our stroll in Byblos, we are going to walk in the old souks where you can interact with the locals 🧍🏽♀️🧍🏽 and buy some souvenirs. While walking we are going to see the roman ruins along the way🚶🏽♀️🚶🏽, the port and the citadel that was built by the Crusaders in the 12th century from indigenous limestone, and the remains of Roman structures (we are going to go inside the citadel to see it closely), if you're a culture enthusiast, you're gonna love this city 😍 Then we are going to have lunch 🍴 at one of the most famous Lebanese restaurants in Byblos. After lunch, we are going to head to Batroun 📍, another Lebanese city that is so close. In Batroun we are going to stroll the tiny roads🛣️, see locals who might be selling products in front of their houses, and drink Lemonade🍋, the most famous drink in the city (we might be having a local guide from the municipality to help us understand the history of Batroun, however, his presence will depend upon his availability). In the afternoon, we are going to head back to the guest house, relax🛌🏽 and get ready for a night out in Byblos for dinner and maybe a party 💃🏽 (depends on your energy after your arrival and the availability of parties during that day because the 14th of April marks the Good Friday).

Laqlouq
Day 2-3
The next day, we are going to wake up early in the morning 🌄 and head towards the mountains ⛰️ We are going to Laklouk and Akoura 📍, 2 famous villages in northern Lebanon known for their lakes, breathtaking views, cherry🍒 and apples 🍏. First, we will stop by Afqa, a village nearby to see the natural waterfall 💦 grotto formed many years ago and the bridge. After, we are going to see the lakes of Laklouk and Akoura from a high point that only locals can take you to and snap some pictures 📷. We are then going for lunch 🥗🍴 After lunch we are going to head back to Batroun for a sunset drink 🍸 if you're up to it or we can go back to the guest house to get ready for dinner and drinks in Batroun.

Bsharri
Day 3-4
On our third day, we are going to head to Bcharre📍. A village very famous in Lebanon for its cedars 🌲 We are going to go inside the cedars reserve 🌲 to see these majestic trees that mark the Lebanese identity. After that, we are going to Ehden 📍, a nearby village known for its views and we're gonna have lunch🥗🍴. After lunch, we will go back to the coast and pass by Anfeh 📍, next to Batroun for a sunset drink🌇 by the beach in a place with Greek vibes. We can also stroll in Anfeh and see some ruins around. We are then going back to our guest house 🛎️. During this last night, we will have dinner all together and say goodbye 👋🏼 to new friends because the next day you'll depart.

Beirut
Day 4-5
Today is going to be our last day together. Some of you might be leaving early in the morning and some might be leaving in the afternoon. Therefore, those who have an early flight to catch they should take care of their own ride to the airport 🛫 (i can help you find a trusted cab🚕, you don't have to worry about that). For those who are leaving in the afternoon, we are going to check out of the guest house around 12 pm, and have a Knefe breakfast while heading to Beirut 📍 where we are going to stroll down the city to see the main attractions, maybe have lunch if you have the time for it and then get you to the airport. And with that, the Lebanese trip has come to an end. I will be saying See you soon instead of Goodbye 👋🏼.
