Hello everyone! Discover the beautiful pre-Hispanic city of Palenque, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and its impressive waterfalls and rivers! Leaving from the magical town of San Cristobal, we will go on a tour to one of the most spectacular places in Mexico, the impressive Sumidero Canyon, we will navigate approximately 2 hours along the Grijalva river, and we will appreciate the majestic 35 km long geological fault. We will enjoy the flora and fauna of the place while an expert guide gives us an explanation. We will also visit the impressive Agua Azul waterfalls, recently declared a "Special Biosphere Reserve." Finally, we will see the archaeological zone of Palenque, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO My name is Marisa, and I'm from Mexico. San Cristobal de las Casas

Day 1-2

The check-in at the hotel is 3:00 pm. We will stay in a hotel in the center of San Cristóbal de las Casas, which will allow us to walk through the nearby areas, such as the zocalo, and the cathedral of San Cristobal, among other places of interest.

Sumidero Canyon

Day 2-3

We will go to the pier of the Cañon del Sumidero national park, where we will navigate for approximately 2 hours along the Grijalva river, and we will appreciate the majestic geological fault of 35 km in length and walls of more than a thousand meters high above the water level, we will also enjoy flora and fauna of the place while an expert guide gives us an explanation. After the tour of the Canyon, we will travel to the magical town of Chiapa de Corzo with its well-known Kiosko, the church of Santo Domingo, and the main tourist points. We will return to our hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas.

Cascada El Chiflón

Day 3-4

Leaving the hotel in San Cristobal, we will not go to the Lagos de Montebello National Park. During the tour, you can do activities such as kayaking or rafting that are offered on site at an additional cost. Later we will go to the impressive El Chiflon waterfalls. A series of 5 waterfalls, the most famous and spectacular being the one known as the "bridal veil," with a fall of 120 meters high.

Palenque

Day 4-5

We will visit the most impressive tourist spots in Chiapas. We will marvel at the impressive blue water cascades, declared a Special Biosphere Reserve. Later we will visit the Misol-Ha waterfall, approximately 30 meters high. The last point to visit will be Palenque's archaeological zone, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. After that, we will return to the hotel in San Cristóbal de las Casas.
