Hola! My name is Rita. My love to travel has led me to live in different countries, before moving to the beautiful piece of paradise called Greece 🇬🇷. I am a nutritionist working in the aid sector and a fitness enthusiast, which is why you might notice that in most of my trips we will be doing some physical activity ⛰🥾 and eating some delicious food 🫒🥖! I love to have a good time and to show people the beauty of the Greek islands that I keep falling in love with every time I visit them 🏝🏝! On this trip, I can promise you lots of fun and memories that will be with you forever! We are planning to spend 7 full days on the Zakynthos Island, which is enough to discover all that this island has to offer. During this trip, we will visit the famous Shipreck 🚢 on the Navagio Beach, both with a view from the top as well as experiencing it from the seaside. This magical place is supposedly the most photographed place in Greece, getting even more attention than the Acropolis of Athens or the Parthenon 😮. We will continue our trip by exploring the Blue caves of Zakynthos, the most instagrammable pictures 📷 of the island. We will visit Cameo Island 🏝️, thought to be a little Caribbean paradise in Greece. We will also enjoy the view from Keri Lighthouse at sunset, where we will watch the sun diving in the sea 🌅 and the crystal blue water. Zakynthos is also very famous for sea turtles 🐢, not only because its shape resembles a turtle, but also because it is one of the most important nesting islands 🏝️ of turtles in Greece. An option here would be to book a boat trip 🚣 to the nearby Marathonisi island and try to find some nice turtles in their natural habitat. Kayaking, snorkelling, and other water activities can also be done. We will visit the beaches of Laganas, Kalamaki, Alikanas and other. At night, we will sample the finest Greek Tavernas 🍽️ and roam around the city for the nightlife 🍸. And the best part about it, is travelling in May, to avoid the big annoying touristy crowds. The island would be all ours! On the islands, I mostly use public transport as it is very cheap and efficient 🚃. There is also an option to rent our own scooter or car 🛵 that we can discuss. 💰 The trip costs include a bed in a shared room, as well as a small organizational fee.
