Where will we stay? Futon and Tatami We will be staying in a guesthouse or Airbnb with shared rooms in Kyoto and/or Osaka. A futon is a traditional Japanese mattress and bedding set. It typically consists of a mattress pad, a duvet, and a pillow. Unlike Western-style beds, futons are designed to be placed directly on the tatami mat or a wooden floor. Futons and tatami create a distinct Japanese sleeping and living experience, emphasizing simplicity, comfort, and a connection to nature and tradition. Tokyo Accommodation Our accommodation in Tokyo will be a capsule hostel, you will have your own cabin and bathrooms are shared. The accommodation is modern and breakfast is included in our stay. You will also receive your own sleep analysis afterwards. The capsule unit will scientifically measure your sleeping condition.

As we step foot into its regal grounds, we'll immerse ourselves in the essence of Korean tradition by donning Hanbok attire. These exquisite garments, steeped in centuries of heritage, adorn us with their vibrant colors and intricate designs, allowing us to capture timeless memories amidst the palace's majestic architecture. Curious about Hanbok? It's more than just clothing; it's a symbol of Korean identity, worn with pride during significant occasions and ceremonies. From the graceful jeogori to the flowing chima for women, and the dignified jeogori paired with baji for men, each piece tells a story of social status, age, and cultural symbolism. The allure of Hanbok lies not only in its elegance but also in its profound cultural significance. We will join a DMZ half day tour from Seoul, it will be a unique and unforgettable experience for sure! We will get a glimpse into North Korea from across the most heavily fortified border in the world! While the Cold War happened a long time ago, Korea is the only country that still remains divided as a consequence. In the evening, we will have a well-deserved dinner in Seoul. You might want to try some Korean barbecue or a local specialty.


Day 4-6
day 4 Our day kicks off with a visit to Gwangjang Market, a bustling hub renowned for its eclectic array of street food delights and exquisite traditional Korean textiles. Amidst the lively atmosphere, we'll indulge in some local breakfast delicacies, such as the savory bindaetteok (mung bean pancakes), a culinary adventure sure to tantalize our taste buds. I can hardly contain my excitement! And no visit to Seoul would be complete without a trip to the iconic Seoul Tower! Then, we'll venture to the bustling Haeundae Traditional Market nearby, indulging in delectable local snacks and perusing unique souvenirs, immersing ourselves in the vibrant tapestry of Busan's culture. after a hearty breakfast and checking out of our accommodation, we'll embark on the next leg of our adventure. Our first mode of transport will be a ferry to Fukuoka, where new experiences await us in Japan. Once we arrive in Fukuoka, we'll seamlessly transition to a high-speed train, whisking us away to Hiroshima, where we'll spend the night, immersing ourselves in the rich history and culture of this iconic city.

day 1 Hiroshima's history is deeply intertwined with the tragic events of August 6, 1945, when it became the target of an atomic bombing during World War II. The devastating aftermath of this event left a profound impact on the city, resulting in widespread destruction and loss of life. Walking amidst the towering bamboo stalks feels like stepping into another realm, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Next on our agenda is a Tea Ceremony, an immersive experience that delves into the ancient art of tea drinking and its profound significance in Japanese culture.
