Discover a Hidden Gem in South Africa: Explore the Beauty of Hartbeespoort

Guided trip
In March 2023 I would love to visit Hartbeespoort to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse myself in the stunning natural beauty of the Magaliesberg mountains, one of the oldest mountains in the world. I would like to try something I haven't done before and experience zip-lining and hot-air ballooning over the breathtaking scenery of Hartbeespoort and also get a mix of culture, art, wildlife and relaxation. I'm looking to share unforgettable memories with 3-4 TripMates. Living in South Africa, I am a bit familiar with the area and have read and watched many blogs and vlogs about it. I'll be harnessing my project management and organizational skill to be well-prepared, so rest assured. I have a planned schedule which is mainly focused on exploring this area. Most days have one planned activity with the flexibility to do another activity of your choosing, and of course, I will be there to help and recommend activities. Since South Africa is a developing country, it doesn't have a highly integrated transport system, so it would be best to hire a car to get around. About me: I am a 34-year-old from Pretoria, South Africa. Having lived and travelled abroad and worked locally in tourism development, I could say you will be with someone who has experience. Travel style: Although my hostel days, rooming with 6 other people, are over, I don't believe accommodation has to be super fancy unless it's part of the actual experience. I am open to different experiences like backpacking along the south coast or going on a luxury train to Victoria Falls, so I'm up for adventure or relaxation. Accommodation vibes: I can do B&B, Airbnb, backpackers, and hotels. I generally prefer to stay in neat 3-star to 4-star establishments, so sometimes rooms may be shared. On this trip everyone will have their own room. Trip costs include: - Accommodation of approximately €50 per person per night for a double room in a bed and breakfast. - Zipline - Hot-air balloon - Cruise - Entry to resort - There is also a Tripleader Fee for the time and effort that it takes to plan the trip, which is €40 per TripMate. A buffer will also be included. Not included: Airplane tickets and car rental are not included in the cost. Other activities planned are not included in the cost, however, you can budget around €50 for those. Unplanned activities and Lunch and dinners are also not included in the costs, so remember to budget for that as well. We'll use the "splitwise" app on the trip to share costs such as car rental, fuel, meals etc. and in case I have some left over I'll pay them back to you. I am excited to have you join my South African adventure, are you? Send me a message, I look forward to hearing from you. Best, Gali
