Who I am? I'm originally from Thailand, but I have been living in Finland with my husband for over 3 years. I'm 29 years old, and my husband is 27 years old. Together we are organizing this trip to give travelers a chance to experience true winter temperatures, a lot of snow, and fun winter activities. I have a small tour guiding company for Thai tourists, but now I want to share my knowledge with my husband to JoinMyTrip travel mates too. Trip plan: This trip length is 5 days and 4 nights. The trip will start from Tampere and from Tampere we continue to Ähtäri and Himos area where all winter activities are happening. The return of the trip will be to Tampere. You can fly directly to Tampere airport or take a train from Helsinki. Trip Itinerary

Tampere
Day 1-2
Arriving in Finland. If you are flying to Tampere, we will pick you up from the airport. If you are flying to Helsinki, we will arrange a train ticket for you. We will be staying in a hostel located in the middle of Tampere. On the first night, we will have welcome drinks at the pub to get to know each other. The first round will be paid by the host. If you are arriving late, don't worry, there is still a lot of time to share during the trip.

Tampere
Day 2-3
On the second day, we will use to explore Tampere city which is the hometown of my husband. We start our morning by visiting Tammelan Tori where we will taste traditional food and travelmates can buy any additional breakfast. After Tammelan Tori, we continue to Näsijärvi Lake to try ice skating on a frozen lake. If you don't want to ice skate, walking and taking pictures is still a nice experience. After ice skating, we will eat lunch at a restaurant. Lunch is included in the price. When lunch is done, we continue to Vapriikki/Finlayson museum area to have a short idea of Tampere's history. Around 6 pm, we will visit a Public Sauna/restaurant. You will get a traditional sauna experience in a modern public sauna. During the sauna, we will have the opportunity to dip in a frozen lake. Common hobby in Finland. Around 8 pm, we will eat dinner in a local restaurant.

Ähtäri
Day 3
On the morning of day 3, my husband will drive us to Ähtäri. Lunch is included on the way. First, we will make a stop at the view tower to take a look at the Finnish winter scenery. After the viewpoint visit, we continue to the reindeer park. In the park, we will walk with reindeer, feed them, and have snacks on the open fire campsite. When the reindeer park visit is over, we will continue to the Himos winter activity park area. Very popular mostly with local people. During the trip, we will stop at the supermarket to buy ingredients for cooking. The trip price includes 50 € for food and drinks per person. In Himos, we will be staying in a Villa with Sauna and hopefully with a hot tub too. The villa has few rooms with single beds. The host will prepare food for everyone.

Himoscenter
Day 3-5
We start day 4 by eating breakfast together, which the host has prepared. Day 4 will be full of winter activities in the Himos area. First, we visit the husky park and do a husky sled tour. After playing with the huskies, we will have lunch. After lunch is time to drive snowmobiles in Himos. Everybody will have their own snowmobile. If you don't have a driving license for a car, or you feel uncomfortable driving, you can share the drive with another driver. After snowmobile driving is finished, we will go back to our Villa. The host will prepare dinner, and we will relax in the sauna and few drinks.

Tampere
Day 5
After we checked out from the Villa, we will drive to Tampere where we eat our last lunch together. If you have a flight from Tampere, we will drive you to the airport. If you are flying from Helsinki, we will take you to the train station.
