Guided trip
Hi, welcome to Yogyakarta! Most of us only know Bali when it comes to Indonesia, but Indonesia has so much more. So let me show you another one, which is Yogyakarta. Hello, I am Ule, a college student who likes to challenge myself to improvise my English skills, especially with new people, and likes to explore new things during semester breaks or weekends. Yogyakarta is one of the big cities on the island of Java which is known to still maintain traditional concepts and Javanese culture. Many parts of this city are adorned with Javanese culture where people will never forget the characteristics of this city. We can find typical Javanese ornaments on street lights, on buildings along the way and other things that make this city look unique and beautiful. That's why this city is called Culture City. We will learn and doing some cultural activities also experience lot of traditional Indonesian foods. Not to mention the highlight, we are going to Borobudur Temple, Sultan's Palace, Water Castle, Gamplong Studio Alam, Indrayanti Beachm Malioboro street, and so on. What's included the price? - Hotel/Acommodation (Shared room) - Transportation (Car rental and driver) - Entrance ticket and the activities What's excluded in the price? - Flight ticket to and from Yogyakarta - Personal expense - Meals, just in case I will arrange the plan of our breakfast, lunch and dinner. We can taste the traditional food and the other local food. Feel free to let me know what your meal preference, so we can discuss it later. If you interested, please do tell me and feel free to ask me anything about the trip. Can't wait to meet you, mate!

Trip Itinerary
1

Alun Alun Kidul

Day 1-2
I will welcome you at the hotel where we will be stay. Once we check in and drop off all your belongings at the hotel, please feel free to let me know if you need to rest for a while cause I know that is a tiring ride from the airport to the city. We won't do much on the first day except exploring Yogyakarta a little. We are going to Alun-alun Kidul Yogyakarta or also known as South square of Yogyakarta. We will walk and explore around the area also we will grab a meal together in case you are hungry
2

Borobudur

Day 2
Borobudur Temple is the largest Buddhist temple which has become a world historical tourist attraction. Borobudur Temple displays beautiful scenery such as mountains, hills, and panoramic sunrises. This temple was built as a place of worship for Buddhists.
3

Puncak Sosok

Day 2
It would be great to grab some meals in a cool atmosphere while witnessing the beautiful panorama of Yogyakarta. Puncak Sosok or Sosok Peak is a natural tourist destination that presents a beautiful landscape of the city of Yogyakarta seen from above combined with the mountain with the cool air typical of the hills. We can experience various foods that serve right there for our lunch.
4

Seribu Batu Songgo Langit

Day 2
A glimpse of the name of Seribu Batu Songgo Langit or Thousand stones of Songgo Langit sounds unique. But it makes sense if this place called “Thousand Stones” because there are many big stones around the place. This place offers various unique spots which would be hard to find in other tourist object, like Hobbit Houses, wooden house and bridge connected among the trees, view substations, tree houses, and other unique spots.
5

MALIOBORO JOGJAKARTA

Day 2-3
For the rest of the day, We are going to Malioboro. Malioboro Street, or Jalan Malioboro in Indonesian, is one of the main touristic and cultural attractions in Yogyakarta. It is the busiest commercial area of the region and is the ideal spot to purchase souvenirs. Malioboro hosts countless stores and street stands selling unusual items at affordable prices including various locally handmade handicrafts, batik fabrics, and jewelry. The wide promenade with street musicians, plenty of benches to stop and rest, and a relaxed atmosphere make for a pleasant outing, especially in the cooler evening hours. Food wise, Malioboro and its vicinities abound with stalls and restaurants to satisfy all kinds of tastes and all budgets.
6

Indrayanti Beach

Day 3
For the last day, it's beach time. We cannot travel to Indonesia without enjoying the beaches there. There are so many beaches right there, especially in Gunungkidul, and we can't explore all of them in a short time so we are go to Pantai Indrayanti or Indrayanti Beach. We can discuss it later whether we had our breakfast first or we eat it later at the beach. Indrayanti Beach offers a peaceful vacation with a unique panoramic view compared to other beaches. Aside from its silky white sand surrounded by enormous powerful rocks, the clear blue hypnotizing color of the sea invites visitors to come and plunge into the underworld. The sea is still clear and beautiful because trash or any other waste has not been contaminated in this remote area.
7

Taman Sari

Day 3
For the last stop, we are going to Taman Sari. Taman Sari was also known as the garden for the Sultan of Yogyakarta. Taman sari was originally built for multiple purposes yet now only several buildings remain. Some of its original functions were a place to rest, to meditate, to work, to hide and to defend the Sultan’s family. Located near the Palace, Taman Sari complex is also related to the royal history on the Palace of Yogyakarta, and it consists of a beautiful water castle and a unique underground mosque named Sumur Gumuling. Sadly, this underground mosque is no longer operational at the moment for refurbishment, not physical but spiritual. But still, there are many other interesting stories from Taman Sari regarding the royal history.
