Next, we'll immerse in the local culture by visiting the traditional markets, where we can sample some of the city's delicious cuisine, such as traditional tacos and tamales, as well as enjoy the lively atmosphere. We'll take a sip of the city's renowned coffee, grown in the nearby mountains and enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. We'll also take a stroll through the city's famous "andadores", or walking streets, which are lined with colorful colonial buildings and bustling with locals. Then, we'll head to the "Humedales" or wetlands, where we'll observe the diverse array of flora and fauna that call this area home. It's also a very quiet and relaxing place that gives the feeling of not being inside the city, Finally, we'll venture out to some of the nearby caves, such as the Grutas de Rancho Nuevo, where we can admire the stunning natural formations and take a look at textile museums as well as ride the big concrete slide, the zipline, maybe go horseback riding and admire the deers and plants in a greenhouse, all in the same location! San Cristobal de las Casas
Day 1-2
On the first day, we'll get comfortable in the place we'll be staying, get to know each other, and get the supplies we'll need for the next few days. We'll make sure to go have dinner at a local place and start to get a sense of the local cuisine.

Zona Centro
Day 2-3
In this next stop we'll get to know the andadores where we can buy traditional clothing and take pictures in the park and main church, we can also get to see the handicraft market to look for things we like, we'll have coffee from a coffee shop that's famous for their organic coffee that's grown by locals.

Parque de los Humedales
Day 3-4
This will be a very relaxing stop, we'll go by the local farmers market in search of food, fruits and vegetables, we'll then head to the parque de los humedales or the wetland park, where we'll have a picnic, play some games and get to know each other better and learn about the city, the locals and its history. This will be a very very relaxing since the park is surrounded by nature with a small body of water.

San Cristobal de las Casas
Day 4-5
On this stop, we'll go to the different churches and parks around the city. Important to note that some are on the top of small mountains so we'll have to go up a lot of stairs, although the views will be very rewarding. we'll visit the Guadalupe park and church, the San cristobalito church located in El Cerrito or "small mountain" and then we'll head to the Parque de la cerced to go to the amber museum.

Rancho Nuevo
Day 5-6
This will be an adventure, we will be going to the Rancho Nuevo caves, it's a total of two natural forming caves, one going as deep as 1km, we'll have fun riding the concrete slide, we'll go ziplining and visit the museum. we'll also have a picnic under the trees, see the deers and the plants in the green house where it'll also be posible to buy an that you like! if you want to go horseback riding this will also be your oportunity.

San Cristobal de las Casas
Day 6-7
This stop will also be special, we'll have a walk on the San Francisco park and the Santa Cecilia park as well, we can also ride the tourist train which will take us on a tour around the city. then it's movie night!! but don't panic! it's not your regular movie theather, it's a local movie theather located inside a restaurant where the movies displayed are unique mexican and even local films portraying the actual and real lifes of the people who made them. we'll have delicious food there as well.

San Cristobal de las Casas
Day 7-8
It's night out! we'll go to the different shops around the andadores, we'll get a taste of the famous local liquor: Posh, a distilled beverage made from corn and. we'll try various flavors and locations and then we'll head out to the karaoke where we'll have some drinks and sing along to anysong of our choosing, we'll then go to a local nightclub and dance, dance, dance!!!

Day 8
Time to say goodbye, as hard as it may seem, all good must come to an end, and what a better way to do so than having breakfast together. After packing up and cleaning our acomodation we'll go for breakfast at one of the rooftops with view of the central park. This is where we say goodbye and hopefully, make plans to return to an adventure together, in this same place or maybe somewhere else.
