West Sumatra is a province in Indonesia located on the island of Sumatra with the capital city of Padang (the most well-known city; Bukittinggi which once became the capital city of Indonesia). Located along the west coast of central Sumatra, the Bukit Barisan plateau to the east, and a number of islands off the coast. Why West Sumatra? West Sumatra is one of the most beautiful areas of Indonesia. It is mountainous and divided by three valleys. There are lovely lakes and spectacular volcanoes. Minangkabau land has the most friendly population group in Indonesia. They love to talk with visitors and will tell us about their unique society. If a visitor tries to understand the culture and Minang traditions he will soon feel himself a member of the clan. He will be invited as a guest to their homes - a unique way to become acquainted with real Indonesian life. Bandara Internasional Minangkabau

Day 1-2
Arrive at Minangkabau International Airport in Padang, West Sumatra. Meet with all trip mates and transferred to the Hotel along the coastline. Enjoy both beach and mountain views from the hotel, catch the sunset view from Bukit Gado-Gado (where we can also do parachuting), and spent the night enjoying traditional food for dinner.

Lembah Anai Waterfall

Day 2
While passing on the Road trip from Padang to the City of Culture, Tanah Datar. Stop by the Lembah Anai Waterfall (swimming is not prohibited) and some riverside rest areas and restaurants with a river flow view.

Pariangan

Day 2
Enjoy the nature of Pariangan village, a village that has been named the most beautiful village in the world while tasting kawa daun / aia kawa. Kawa Daun, a name for a traditional Minangkabau drink that is quite unique with a long history behind it. Taste and shape somewhat like tea, but made from coffee leaves that are dried and then roasted or smoked over a fire that has been prepared instead of tea leaves that are blended or cut into small pieces.

Harau Valley

Day 4-5
Harau Valley is a gorge near Payakumbuh City in Limapuluh Kota District, West Sumatra province. The Harau Valley is flanked by two steep rocky hills with a height of up to 150 meters in the form of steep, colorful sandstone, with a height of 100 to 500 meters. Visitor area is at the bottom of the valley where we can also do glamping (glamour camping) to stay overnight.

Bukittinggi, the City of Tourism, is a destination that should not be missed when visiting West Sumatra. Bukittinggi is the second biggest city in West Sumatra, and it is famous for the born place of some important figures like Moch. Hatta and Assaat. During the colonial time, this city was popular by Fort de Kock and it was considered as Parijs van Sumatera besides Medan.
