Guided trip
Since I already know (not from joinmytrip platform but personally) 2 people that will join this trip but I’m still looking for other 2 people hurry up and don’t miss this opportunity✨ We will visit Amman and the surroundings, the Dead Sea where we found a 4 stars resort at a reasonable price, Madaba, Petra where we find a hostel with an amazing sunset view and can experience local food, the Wadi Rum desert where we will be camping on the first night in a bedouin camp and staying in a cozy private room with amazing stars/desert view on the second night (only 25€/person). Also, we will be doing a two hours jeep tour in the desert and snorkeling in the Red Sea coral reef in Aqaba. We will rent a car since it’s the cheapest way to visit Jordan. As anticipated, I’m looking for another person / 2 people to join us. The estimated price is 500€. Jordan pass is taken into account (90€) and allows us to visit Petra and other sites of interest and to enter the country when in the airport VISA free (otherwise you would have to pay 52€ just to enter the country). The price includes: • Visit to Petra • Visit to Wadi Rum Protected Area • Two hours 4x4 jeep tour in the desert • A relaxing resort in the Dead Sea with a pool, private beach, and the possibility to go mudding • A resort in Wadi Rum with accommodation in the Superior Suite (stars view) • Accommodation for all nights (some nights private and some nights shared) • A rented car that we can use to travel around the country • A driver • Gasoline The price does not include: • Flights • Food • Travel insurance • Snorkeling and diving trips • Hiking tour • Other personal expenses Snorkeling and diving trips are up to you if you want to join us. A snorkeling day trip in Aqaba can cost up to 100€. Other personal expenses are up to you. We will be talking in English. Once you've booked, I'd love to jump on a call with you to see if we click and if this trip is just what you're looking for. I'm really excited to hear from you! 🙌🏻

5/5
Florena is a fun but very organized and responsible trip leader. We did encounter some mishaps during the trip but they were all solved quickly. As a person, Florena's extrovert and adventurous nature makes her the ideal trip companion.

Trip Itinerary
1

Amman

Day 1-2
Amman is the starting point for most tourists visiting Jordan, it’s Jordan’s capital city and a melting pot of cultural experiences. From traditional houses to luxurious five-stars hotels, Amman is a great place to explore. The day starts in the heart of Amman. Amman stretches on seven hills, also known as districts and The Rainbow Street is located in the Jebel Amman district. This place is famous for its restaurants, cafes and funky decorations.
2

Dead Sea

Day 2-3
We booked a four stars resort with private beach and pool. The Dead Sea is one of Jordan's top tourist attractions, but it's not just about floating in the water itself. It's a fascinating area to explore and within easy reach as a day trip from either Amman or the town of Madaba. We will be coast-driving the Dead Sea and visit the main spots while heading south to Petra.
3

Wadi Musa

Day 3
We will arrive supposedly in the late afternoon in Wadi Musa where a local experience is waiting for us: in the terrace of a rooftop restaurant (Winner of the award for the best choice of food and drink in the city of Petra) we will have dinner at sunset and charge our batteries for the following day!
4

Petra Visitor Center

Day 3-4
We will start our day at the visitor centre in the early morning and visit Petra and the other main spots during the whole day. Curiosity: Wadi Musa means "Valley of Moses" in Arabic. It is said that Moses passed through the valley and struck water from the rock for his followers at the site of Ain Musa ("Moses Spring" or "Moses' Well"). Wadi Musa was also nicknamed the "Guardian of Petra". The Tomb of Aaron, the traditional burial site of biblical Aaron, the brother of Moses, is on nearby Jebel Harun, a strong candidate for biblical Mount Hor.
5

Wadi Rum Protected Area

Day 4-6
Around the desert in a 4x4 car, experience Wadi Rum from great heights in one of our active hiking and climbing. Two overnight stay in the desert for the ultimate desert experience, eating in the bedouin camps.
6

Aqaba

Day 6-9
We will visit the city and enjoy the Red Sea. The usual snorkeling spaces are to the South of Aqaba towards Saudi Arabia and can be easily reached from the city as a day trip. The best spots include The Power Station; First Bay; Cedar Pride; Japanese Garden; Gorgonian I and II; Big Bay; The Aquarium and Golden Gardens.
