Menara Gardens

Day 1-2
The Menara Gardens are Marrakech’s most famous gardens. They were established during the twelfth century around a lake, which was used to water the fruit and vegetables planted in the grounds. It was initially commissioned by Abd al-Mu’min, leader of the Almohad Movement. Later, the gardens were renovated in 1870. The most beautiful part of this green space is the lake, which is presided over by a pavilion, also renovated by the sultan Abderrahmane of Morocco, and the thousands of olive trees surrounding the area. The pavilion was built by the sultan Sidi Mohammed ibn Abdallah and it is believed that this is where the sultans met their companions.

A family kitchen in the traditional version but also in the street-food version with in particular our tajines in sandwiches to consume without moderation on the spot or to take away. Souk Semmarine

Day 2
Souk Semmarine is the main focal point of the souks and the one that most tourists frequent. It is basically a long street covered by an iron trellis that turns into two other souks—Souk Nejjarine and Souk El-Kebir.
5

Marrakesh

Day 2
Tagine is an important part of Moroccan cuisine and has been a part of the culture for hundreds of years. The word tagine actually has two meanings. First, it refers to a type of North African cookware traditionally made of clay or ceramic. The bottom is a wide, shallow circular dish used for both cooking and serving, while the top of the tagine is distinctively shaped into a rounded dome or cone. Second, the word tagine also refers to the succulent, stew-like dish which is slow-cooked in the traditional cookware. Typically, a tagine is a rich mixture of meat, poultry, or fish, and most often includes vegetables or fruit. Vegetables may also be cooked alone in the tagine. Most people agree that the tagine's origin dates back to the late 18th century when Harun al Rashid ruled the Islamic Empire. However, there is another school of thought that the use of ceramics in Moroccan cooking is probably of Roman influence; Romans were known for their ceramics and likely brought that tradition to their rule of Roman Africa. Either way, the first appearance of recipes cooked tagine-style appeared in the 9th century in the publication The Thousand and One Night.
6

Jemaa el-Fna

Day 2
Jemaa el-Fna Square is one of the main cultural spaces in Marrakesh and has become one of the symbols of the city since its foundation in the eleventh century. It represents a unique concentration of popular Moroccan cultural traditions performed through musical, religious, and artistic expressions.

Agafay Desert

Day 3-4
The Agafay desert is located thirty kilometers the South of Marrakech and extends over several hundred acres. This rocky desert can be likened to a sand desert. Indeed, its white dunes and landscape are similar to the Sahara dunes.
10

Anima (André Heller Garden)

Day 4
Universal artist, André Heller’s opulent, two-hectare botanical staging is a magical place of sensuality, wonder, contemplation, joy, healing, and inspiration, for people of all ages who want to experience the unforgettable.
11

Ourika setti fatma

Day 4-5
The Ourika is actually a river that descends from the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains and flows partly into the Ourika Valley – it is actually a tributary of the great Oued Tensift. In Arabic, the word “Oued” means river so the Ourika is an oued passing through the foothills of the Atlas Mountains from an altitude of 1500m and all the villages extending along its valley to the gates of Marrakech. Caution, thunderstorms can cause serious flooding, as in 1995 when thousands of people died as a result of the overflowing of the bed of the oued. With a pleasant climate, surrounded by agricultural fields and olive groves, orchards, almond trees, and cherry trees, the road crossing the valley is winding and climbing. Nature is luxuriant and abundant in spring after the rainy season with its bright red soil and terracotta colors, the air is cooler as you gain altitude (a difference of 15 Degrees can be felt in summer) through a succession of breathtaking panoramic views.
12

Ouzoud Waterfalls

Day 5
The Ouzoud Falls - Cascades d'Ouzoud - is 110 m high which makes it the second tallest waterfall in Africa. It’s a huge touristic destination and one of the most visited and photographed natural sites in all of Morocco. It stands atop the Azilal region of Morocco, overlooking the Tanaghmeilt village. The waterfalls empty into the El-Abid River (Slaves' River). The word ‘Ouzoud’ was said to be Berber for ‘the act of grinding grain.’ Apparently, a lot of the buildings there happened to be grinding mills that probably utilized the force of the water.
13

Bin El Ouidane

Day 5-6
Discover the small hamlet of Bin El Ouidane, a beautiful town surrounded by incredible scenery many visitors miss. Located in the Atlas Mountains, it's famous for Bin El Ouidane Lake, which forms one of the most picturesque landscapes in the area. Perfect for all travelers, the region is an excellent destination for nature lovers, adventure-seekers, and families.
14

Jardin Majorelle-Yves Saint Laurent Mansion

Day 6
The Majorelle Garden is a one-hectare (two-acre) botanical garden and artist's landscape garden in Marrakech, Morocco. It was created by the French Orientalist artist Jacques Majorelle over almost forty years, starting in 1923, and features a Cubist villa designed by the French architect, Paul Sinoir in the 1930s. The property was the residence of the artist and his wife from 1923 until their divorce in the 1950s. In the 1980s, the property was purchased by the fashion designers, Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé who worked to restore it. Today, the garden and villa complex is open to the public. The villa houses the Berber Museum and in 2017 the Yves Saint Laurent Museum opened nearby.
15

Yves Saint Laurent Museum

Day 6
This captivating museum, which opened in 2017, showcases finely selected collections of haute couture clothing and accessories that span 40 years of creative work by the legendary French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent.
