About me! I'm an original Budapestian who spent most of his life here. I want to show others around this great city and by doing that, I can also experience it in a new way. I'm a big foodie (especially have a weakness for desserts), so if you're also someone who prioritizes great meals above everything else while traveling, I'm sure we will get along.

Details about the accommodation: We will stay in a high-end apartment in the heart of the city (on the Pest side) where we can comfortably work and have a great time together. Everyone will have a private bedroom, there are 2 bathrooms, and we can use the apartment's fully equipped kitchen and large balcony. The apartment is just a few steps from the metro station and airport bus stop. Keep me posted in the Q&A section if you have any doubts about the trip!

Budapest

Day 1-6

You'll arrive at Budapest International Airport and make your way to the apartment which is just a few meters from the airport express bus stop. We settle in and make our plans for the week. I have several recommendations for what to visit and we can make the final decisions together.

Buda Castle

Day 6

The famous Castle District of Buda is history itself. With recent renovations, they restored many of the medieval architecture into their former beauty. The cobblestone streets, the Royal Palace, the Matthias Church and the view from the Fisherman's Bastion is unmatchable.

Parliament

Day 6

The building of the Hungarian Parliament is breathtaking from inside and outside. We will participate in a tour inside the Parliament with English audioguide. Based on our availability, we can join the tour on a weekday morning or on the weekend during the day.

Széchenyi Thermal Bath

Day 6

Inarguably the most picturesque of the many thermal baths of Budapest. This visit will be mostly depending on the weather but there are also indoor pools if it gets too cold or we can choose another bath as well, for example the Rudas Turkish bath.
