Trip Itinerary

Ljubljana
Day 1-4
Slovenia's capital, Ljubljana, is one of the best destinations to visit. Despite being significantly smaller than most European capitals, Ljubljana has a distinct charm that makes it worthwhile to visit. Tromostovje, popularly known as the Triple Bridge, is a notable tourist attraction in the city, with three gorgeous bridges spanning the river side by side. In the Old Town, you may explore castles and medieval squares, see the actual Roman city walls, and rest in Tivoli Park. Ljubljana is also home to outstanding art and architecture museums, an impressive zoo, the Slovenian Philharmonic, and the Slovene National Theater, as well as being the capital.
2
Lake Bled
Day 4
Lake Bled, a picturesque body of water encircled by the Julian Alps, serves as an entrance to the Triglav National Park. The emerald green lake isn't particularly vast, and you can stroll around its edge in a single afternoon. The small island in the middle of the lake, which is home to a 17th century church, is what makes the location so appealing. We may also go horseback riding along the lake's banks, rent a rowboat to explore the water, or trek 15 minutes to Bled Castle, which dates from the 17th century and offers spectacular views of the lake below.
3
Postojna
Day 4
Postojna is a small town in southwest Slovenia that is a must-see for visitors looking for unique attractions and beautiful scenery. Postojna is noted for its large cave system, which spans 20 kilometers (13 miles) and includes chambers, passageways, and galleries with ceilings as high as 50 meters (150 feet). There is even a train excursion that takes you through parts of the cave system, after which you can stroll through some of the cave's more interesting sections. A medieval castle carved into the wall of a cave, north of Postojna, creates a magnificent exhibition of engineering that you must see to believe.
4
Piran
Day 4
On the tip of Southwestern Slovenia, and on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, is the resort hotspot called Piran. The destination is reminiscent of Italy, which makes sense since it was actually part of the Venetian Empire for more than five centuries. Piran is small in size, but it is quaint, historic and scenic. History buffs might want to explore landmarks like the main square called Tartinijev trg, the oldest building in the city called the Venetian House and the Church of St. George. You can also walk right on top of the city walls or hop off one of the piers for a refreshing swim in the Adriatic.
5
Waterfall Pericnik
Day 4
One of Slovenia's tallest waterfalls is hidden within the Triglav National Park. It is actually made up of two separate falls. The lower falls reach a height of 171 feet, while the upper falls are only 52 feet tall. The Pericnik Waterfalls are notable for the fact that you can walk behind them. A little trail runs behind the gushing river and provides breathtaking views of the entire valley in front of it. This trip is a must-see on your visit to the falls if you don't mind getting a little wet. This spot is flexible, if we have enough time and energy we will do this :)
