It was initially commissioned by Abd al-Mu’min, leader of the Almohad Movement. Later, the gardens were renovated in 1870. The most beautiful part of this green-space is the lake, which is presided by a pavilion, also renovated by the sultan Abderrahmane of Morocco and the thousands of olive trees surrounding the area. The pavilion was built by the sultan Sidi Mohammed ibn Abdallah and it is believed that this is where the sultans met their companions.

The Majorelle Garden is a one-hectare (two-acre) botanical garden and artist's landscape garden in Marrakech, Morocco. It was created by the French Orientalist artist Jacques Majorelle over almost forty years, starting in 1923, and features a Cubist villa designed by the French architect, Paul Sinoir in the 1930s. The property was the residence of the artist and his wife from 1923 until their divorce in the 1950s. In the 1980s, the property was purchased by the fashion designers, Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé who worked to restore it. Today, the garden and villa complex is open to the public. The villa houses the Berber Museum and in 2017 the Yves Saint Laurent Museum opened nearby.

The Agafay desert is located thirty kilometers in the South of Marrakech and extends over several hundred acres. This rocky desert, can be likened to a sand desert. Indeed, its white dunes stand and landscape are similar to the Sahara dunes.
7

Souk Semmarine

Day 2-3
Souk Semmarine is essentially a term that refers to the entire souk (market) area near to Jemaa al-Fna which has served as Marrakech's main square ever since the city was first founded.
8

Marrakech Tensift El Haouz

Day 3
tagine is an important part of Moroccan cuisine and has been a part of the culture for hundreds of years. The word tagine actually has two meanings. First, it refers to a type of North African cookware traditionally made of clay or ceramic. The bottom is a wide, shallow circular dish used for both cooking and serving, while the top of the tagine is distinctively shaped into a rounded dome or cone. Second, the word tagine also refers to the succulent, stew-like dish which is slow-cooked in the traditional cookware. Typically, a tagine is a rich mixture of meat, poultry, or fish, and most often includes vegetables or fruit. Vegetables may also be cooked alone in the tagine. Most people agree that the tagine's origin dates back to the late 18th century when Harun al Rashid ruled the Islamic Empire. However, there is another school of thought that the use of ceramics in Moroccan cooking is probably of Roman influence; Romans were known for their ceramics and likely brought that tradition to their rule of Roman Africa. Either way, the first appearance of recipes cooked tagine-style appeared in the 9th century in the publication The Thousand and One Nights.
9

Jemaa el-Fna

Day 3
The mosque was founded in 1147 by the Almohad caliph Abd al-Mu'min right after he conquered Marrakesh from the Almoravids. A second version of the mosque was entirely rebuilt by Abd al-Mu'min around 1158, with Ya'qub al-Mansur possibly finalizing the construction of the minaret around 1195. This second mosque is the structure that stands today. It is considered a classic and important example of Almohad architecture and of Moroccan mosque architecture generally. The minaret tower, 77 meters (253 ft) in height, is decorated with varying geometric arch motifs and topped by a spire and metal orbs. It likely inspired other buildings such as the Giralda of Seville and the Hassan Tower of Rabat, which was built shortly after in the same era. The minaret is also considered an important landmark and symbol of Marrakesh.
10

Jemaa el-Fna

Day 3
The Jemaa el-Fna Square is one of the main cultural spaces in Marrakesh and has become one of the symbols of the city since its foundation in the eleventh century. It represents a unique concentration of popular Moroccan cultural traditions performed through musical, religious and artistic expressions.
11

Café Amornakoch

Day 3
The main Moroccan dish people are most familiar with is couscous; beef is the most commonly eaten red meat in Morocco, usually eaten in a tagine with a wide selection of vegetables. Chicken is also very commonly used in tagines or roasted. They also use additional ingredients such as plums, boiled eggs, and lemon.
12

Anima (André Heller Garden)

Day 3-4
Universal artist André Heller’s opulent, two-hectare botanical staging is a magical place of sensuality, of wonder, of contemplation, of joy, of healing, and of inspiration. For people of all ages who want to experience the unforgettable.
13

واد اوريكا

Day 4
The Ourika is actually a river that descends from the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains and flows partly into the Ourika Valley – it is actually a tributary of the great Oued Tensift. In Arabic, the word “Oued” means river so the Ourika is an oued passing through the foothills of the Atlas Mountains from an altitude of 1500m and all the villages extending along its valley to the gates of Marrakech. Caution, thunderstorms can cause serious flooding, as in 1995 when thousands of people died as a result of the overflowing of the bed of the oued. With a pleasant climate, surrounded by agricultural fields and olive groves, orchards, almond trees and cherry trees, the road crossing the valley is winding and climbing. The nature is luxuriant and abundant in spring after the rainy season with its bright red soil and terracotta colours, the air is cooler as you gain altitude (a difference of 15 Degrees can be felt in summer) through a succession of breathtaking panoramic views.
14

Bahia Palace

Day 4-5
The Bahia Palace is a 19th century building, consisting of rooms decorated with stunning stuccos, paintings and mosaics palace and a set of gardens located in Marrakech, Morocco. The Bahia Palace was intended to be the greatest palace of its time. The name of the Bahia Palace means in Arabic “brilliance”
15

Riad Yima

Day 5
Hassan Hajjaj’s exuberant portraits capture the cultural multiplicity that animates the streets of Morocco, where the artist grew up. Hajjaj’s practice spans myriad disciplines including sculpture, video, fashion, photography, and performance, but he is perhaps best known for his bright photographs of stylishly dressed subjects who pose in front of patterned backgrounds. The artist places his pictures in custom frames that feature borders inset with commercial goods such as cans of tomato sauce or motor oil. Thanks to his expansive approach to medium and inventive juxtapositions of North African culture and Western iconography, Hajjaj has garnered comparisons to iconoclasts and Pop phenoms such as Andy Warhol. He has exhibited in New York, London, Paris, Marrakesh, Dubai, Berlin, and Los Angeles. His work belongs in the collections of the Brooklyn Museum, the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Museum of African Contemporary Art Al Maaden in Marrakesh, and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
16

Rotisserie de la Paix

Day 5
