Nicaragua is always a good plan for me, and I've been waiting a long time to get to know "Corn Island" - Now the big day is here! 🏝️ On Setember 2023, I would like to visit my home country again and see more of its beautiful places and the diversity of activities it has to offer for a week. I would like to enjoy a variety of activities such as aquatic, adventure, nature, culture and, of course, relaxation. Alone, of course, is not as much fun as together. That's why I'm looking for 5 travel companions who want to join my adventure, as I mentioned before I was born in Nicaragua so I have experience there and know the culture which will allow us to have a better time together! 🥳 I have already planned a route with details - but your wishes of course can still be taken into account. The idea is to visit four cities in Nicaragua which allows us to do different activities like. We can set up a meeting point in Nicaragua, or we can even meet in Costa Rica and go together by bus or car with an additional cost like a road trip! The total cost of the trip includes accommodation in the four places to be visited, which are: - 2 nights in an apartment in corn island with shared room - 1 night in a hostel in Leon, Nicaragua - One night camping in a volcano with everything included - One night in a hotel in a family room on Ometepe Island - One night in an apartment in San Juan del Sur In addition, transportation of the plane from Managua to Corn Island, car rental car for comfort with driver or it could be less if someone has a license, and some activities in each destination like Snorkeling, Volcano Boarding, hiking, entrance fees to some places. I also included a buffer in case of unexpected expenses. We will use the splitwise app on the trip to split the expenses and in case I have some left over I will pay you back 😊. About me, I'm 24 years old, from Nicaragua but live in Costa Rica, and have spent the last few years getting to know both countries and narrowing down the to-do list - so I consider myself "travel experienced"! As for my travel style, I am quite flexible and budget conscious when it comes to taking trips that allow me to travel comfortably without going overboard on expenses, and Nicaragua allows me to do this, go to beautiful places and enjoy, corn island is a dream place, with crystal clear waters and water activities, on the other hand it is a country with many volcanoes to visit!

Accommodation in most cases is in hostels or private apartments, so there is the possibility of having a private room if you wish for an additional cost, it is only necessary to indicate it in time. Some of them include breakfast in the price and snacks, as in the camping excursion that includes equipment, meals and regalia shirts.

Corn Islands

Day 1-3

We will take the first plane to the island, which will leave us early, and we will head to the apartment where we will stay, which is located a few steps from one of the beaches. We can walk around the island and rest for a while, or go hiking if you wish. The next day, we take the boat tour to little corn island and snorkel. You can also go scuba diving if you want to do it for an additional cost, or rent a boat for sunset or fishing. 🦈🐠

León

Day 3-5

Upon returning to Managua from the airport where the plane leaves us, we will rent the car and head to Leon to Lazybones hostel, we will arrive early that day, so we will dedicate ourselves to know the city, the church and nearby places.⛪ The next day we will have a day full of adventure, we will walk to the top of an active volcano, and then we will slide on a board, a unique activity called SANDBOARDING, it is an incredible experience! 🌋 After that we will go to see the sunset at another active volcano called "El hoyo" where we will camp, and in the morning we will go to see an incredible lake! 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻

Ometepe

Day 5-6

Arriving at Ometepe Island, we will first go to the hotel and we can rest, or go to relax around the hotel and even visit one of the volcanoes called "Maderas" hiking where we will connect with nature. 🌋

San Juan del Sur

Day 6-7

On our last night together, we can go to evening activities like go some restaurants to eat and go watch the sunset at the "Cristo de la Misericordia" and enjoy the beach which is just steps away from the hostel! 🌅
