A rare opportunity to trek through Upper Mustang in Nepal

Join me on a rare opportunity to visit the former kingdom of the Upper Mustang. This is a restricted area, so solo backpackers cannot enter Upper Mustang. About the trip: First, we travel to Pokhara and onwards to Kagbeni. The gateway of Upper Mustang. We trek on the dry Tibetan plateau where the landscape is shaped by the wind. We will pass by authentic villages and visit local Buddhist monasteries. After a few days' trek, we walk into the medieval walled town of Lo Manthang. During your resting day, you have all the time to look around Lo Manthang and its surrounding area. From Lo Manthang, we track back on a different hiking trail. And travel back to Pokhara and Kathmandu where our adventure will end. Day 06 Trek to Shyammochen (3500 m – 6 hrs.) Day 07 Trek to Gami (3510 m – 5 hrs.) Day 08 Trek to Tsarang (3560 m – 5 hrs.) Day 09 Trek to Lo Manthang (3700 m – 5 hrs.)
