About the TRIPMATES: I'm looking for 2-6 intrepid travelers who need to explore the authentic and natural beauty of Uganda and its surrounding neighborhood. I was born in this place and lived here my entire life, I have become used to and well-versed with Uganda the Pearl of Africa, and its surroundings, always on alert for hidden opportunities and experiences in travel. We will travel in group vehicles and sometimes combine beautiful hotel accommodations in nature in one of the selected beautiful sites. Uganda provides a wonderful value in your spending and you will appreciate the value of your spending during the trip. PRIOR TO DEPARTURE Passport Requirements: You must have a passport valid for (6) months beyond the last day of your trip. Please check the expiration date of your passport immediately. HOW TO GET TO UGANDA Flight to Uganda: As you plan your travel to Uganda, note that most airlines have an allowance of 20kgs. Think about what you can carry into and out of Uganda, it’s important to leave room for souvenirs. Most of the mentioned items are actually found in supermarkets in Kampala where you can go for pre-trip shopping. WHY VISIT UGANDA? So, why have an Uganda safari? What makes Uganda good for safari is gorilla trekking is the best done here, the highest population of 400 mountain gorillas, climb the Rwenzori mountains, see the tree-climbing lions in Africa, enjoy white water rafting on the Nile, 1000 bird species makes it a top birding destination in Africa. You will visit the superb Murchison falls, and engage in sightseeing of Uganda’s savanna, wildlife, lakes, and rivers. Uganda is one of the most hospitable countries in the world, thus making it the best cultural safari destination in Africa. Entebbe International Airport

Day 1-2
Your flight is estimated and scheduled for an early (not past 10 am) landing in Entebbe. Your safari will start from Entebbe International Airport where the assigned driver-guide will receive you and then depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park – one of Uganda’s most frequented tourist destinations.

Kyambura Gorge Lodge

Day 2-3
The extensive Kyambura George pronounced by locals as 'Chambura” is the magnificent valley of apes in the Queen Elizabeth national park. During the trip, the sight of wildlife including giant hippos, elephants, and crocodiles among others will fascinate you. You will also see many varieties of birds on the water shores. Return to the accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Day 3-5
Broadbill forest camp, Uganda is a mid-range lodge located in Ruhija, on the eastern edge of the Bwindi Impenetrable forest. it offers a key destination for avid. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. With a strenuous day ahead, you will do less on arrival but just check in your accommodation, and relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the following day.

Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort

Day 5-6
Have breakfast and move to the rangers’ post. You will receive some briefing (from a ranger guide) on the dos and don’ts during trekking. Thereafter, you will enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular! The area offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain varies with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle but endangered giants is unforgettable. Return to the accommodation, check out, and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of (2,200 – 2,478m) but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical you could admire them all day.

Day 6-7
You will have a relaxed breakfast with a spectacular view of the Bunyonyi little islands just right in front of you. This beautiful lake island resort in Lake Bunyonyi (the country's most beautiful lake).

Entebbe International Airport

Day 7-8
Thereafter, you will hit the road for the return to Entebbe (arriving in the late afternoon/evening) for your flight out. We hope to see you (or any referral) when next, you visit, and thanks for choosing to join mu trip in Uganda.
