Hi! I’m Jasper, 29, and I'm searching for enthusiastic travel buddies to join me on an epic 20-day journey across the USA’s West Coast! We’ll explore the best things this amazing region has to offer! Over these 20 days, we’ll visit incredible national parks like the Grand Canyon, Zion, Death Valley, Sequoia and Yosemite, along with the three main cities: San Francisco, Las Vegas, and LA. Death Valley and Grand Canyon are perfect for stargazing, and we might even get to see the Milky Way on a clear night! I've packed in a ton of fun activities, a tour of the Paramount and Warner Bros. studios, a visit to Alcatraz and tickets to an American football game and a baseball game —all included in the trip price! This adventure is carefully planned so all you need to do is join and enjoy each moment. These three weeks are full of unforgettable sights, sounds, and experiences you won’t want to miss! Keep scrolling to see what’s included (spoiler: it’s nearly everything!). I’ll handle the driving most of the time, but if you’re open to pitching in for a few stretches, it would be a big help. (And you can say that you drove part of route 66!) Physical rating of the trip: 3/5 (you need a little endurance, as we go on a couple of hikes.) Group size: 3 trip mates and myself. Important Notes ✈️ Travel Dates: Please note that the travel dates are fixed, so flexibility on timing is essential. The first 4 days are in San Francisco and the last day. We are in LA 3 till 6 October if you want to take a flight back from there. Cost will stay the same. Early Booking Tip: The earlier you reserve your spot, the better flight deals you’ll find! What Makes This Trip So Special and Why Join Me ✨ Having been on many group trips myself, including this exact same trip in April, I know what makes an unforgettable experience. I love organizing travel, so you can count on a well-planned, seamless adventure. My goal is to create a relaxed, fun atmosphere where all you have to do is show up and enjoy! I’m looking for non-smoking tripmates, because smoking is prohibited in Yosemite & Sequoia due to regulations from the national park and the Airbnb where we are staying. You also need to be a little bit fit, as we’ll be doing some hiking and exploring that requires a bit of walking. If this sounds like you, please introduce yourself briefly when requesting to join. This helps me ensure that everyone’s ready for the adventure and has read through the trip details.

🏛️ Occupancy Every traveler will have their own bed, ensuring comfort and a good night’s rest after our adventures. There will be gender-separated sleeping areas. However, please note that on occasion, I might take a sleeping couch in a shared livingroom, and bathrooms will occasionally be shared as well. We will be staying in Hotels and Airbnb's with a good rating of 8 or higher. One night we will be sleeping in seperate tents.

Day 1-5

Welcome to San Francisco, one of California's most iconic cities! Days 1 and 2 allow time for everyone to arrive and settle in. Over the next few days, we’ll explore some of San Francisco’s most famous landmarks and experiences. We’ll visit the Golden Gate Bridge, take a tour of the infamous Alcatraz Island, ride the historic cable cars, and explore the lively Fisherman’s Wharf. For sports enthusiasts, we’ll also catch a baseball game at Oracle Park. There will also be time to wander through the city’s charming photogenic streets. Yosemite National Park

Day 5-7

Today, we leave the city behind and head into the breathtaking wilderness of Yosemite National Park. Over the next three days, we’ll embark on some incredible hikes and stop at scenic highlights along the way for unforgettable photos. The hikes planned include: - Nevada Falls Trail (10 km) - Yosemite Falls Trail (8 km) - Mirror Lake Trail (7 km) - Taft Point Trail (3 km). Sequoia National Park

Day 7-9

We continue our journey to Sequoia National Park, home to some of the largest trees on Earth. Today, we’ll explore two rewarding trails: - Tokopah Falls Trail (6 km) - General Sherman Oak Trail (4 km). We’ll stop for photos at iconic spots along the way, including the opportunity to drive through the Tunnel Log, a must-see experience. Death Valley National Park

Day 9-10

We head into the desert landscapes of Death Valley National Park, known for its surreal beauty and unique terrain. - Day 9: Visit the sand dunes and catch the sunset at Zabriskie Point—a perfect spot for stunning photos. If the skies are clear, we’ll spend the evening stargazing, with a chance to see the Milky Way. - Day 10: Tour more Death Valley highlights before arriving in the lively city of Las Vegas. Day 10-12

Today is all about exploring the best of Las Vegas! We’ll start with a visit to the nearby Valley of Fire, a stunning desert park with unique rock formations. In the afternoon, we’ll tour some of Vegas’s highlights. For those who need some relaxation, feel free to unwind by the resort pool. In the evening—what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! Zion National Park

Day 12-13

We leave the bright lights behind and head toward the natural beauty of Zion National Park. Today, we’ll explore some of Zion’s best sights through short hikes and scenic photo stops. If the skies are clear, the evening offers another opportunity to stargaze and enjoy the beauty of the Milky Way. Grand Canyon

Day 13-14

Today’s destination is the world-famous Grand Canyon National Park. We’ll visit the main photo spots for panoramic views and, for those interested, enjoy a short hike along the rim. We’ll time our visit to catch the sunset—the most spectacular time to see the Grand Canyon’s colors come alive. After nightfall, we’ll have one last chance to stargaze and witness the Milky Way. Route 66

Day 14-15

We’ll drive along the iconic Route 66 today, with opportunities to stop for photos and enjoy the nostalgia of this legendary American highway. Day 20-21

Today is our last day together, and it’s time to say goodbye as we head back home from San Francisco. If you fly back on wednesday 8 october, you will be back in the EU on thursday 9 october. So keep in mind you actually have to be free till thrusday 9 october to do the whole trip.
