Starting in 1971, this counterculture movement was built upon the old site of military land in Christianhavn. Now, this region is full of quirky and colorful houses residents there. Situated on a tiny island, Slotsholmen, this palace vividly looks like the castle you ever watched in your Disney movie. The royal guards will march from their barracks in Rosenborg Castle through the main streets of Copenhagen to their way to Amalienborg Palace. The march is also accompanied by music.
