How to get there: Drive along the mountain roads south of Rethymno. You can start from cities like Heraklion, Rethymno, or Agios Nikolaos with requires a 20 minutes – 1-hour drive. Stop your car in the Kantina of  Church of Agios Nikolaos, then go down the steps beside the little church. Take the right pathway which leads to the river.
