Arusha

Day 1-2
In this day you will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport and drive to Kiboko Lodge. Breakfast,lunch and dinner will be involved.

Mount Kilimanjaro

Day 2-3
After breakfast we will drive 1 hours to Mount Kilimanjaro and you will do a day Trekking untille Shira one Camp. You will see the Kibo peak very close and clear.From Shira Camp you will drive back to Kiboko lodge in the evening. Dinner and overnight; Kiboko lodge.

Tarangire National Park

Day 3-4
Approximately 118 km Southwest of Arusha, covering an area of 2850 sq km, The Park is well known for its huge herd of Elephants and tree climbing pythons. Tarangire has the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem. Apart of big number of elephants Tarangire has more than 550 different species of birds. Tarangire River is the only source of water during dry season and that makes thousands of animals to move at the river so as to have water access. Hundreds of elephants and other animals may be easily spotted at Tarangire River during dry season.It is possible to see 1500 elephants and 2000 buffalos in a morning. Tarangire National Park for a game drive untill in the evening. This is the famous Park for Baobab trees, big herds of elephants, zebras,Wildbeest, lions,cheetah,leopards, Buffaloes, Hippos,Girrafes,Flamingos,Ostriches, Accacia. Dinner and overnight; Fanaka lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater

Day 4-5
We will leave Fanaka lodge and drive to Ngorongoro Crater for game drive before we contunue to Serengeti for overnight. The Ngorongoro Crater is the southern part of Serengeti National Park. It is the worlds greatest continuous caldera, which is non-flooded. Caused by the collapse of a volcano 3 million years ago, when the East African Rift System has developed, this crater was formed. Its sidewalls have a height of between 400 and 600 meters. The crater has a diameter of between 17 and 21 kilometers and its inner surface measures about 21 square kilometers. Nearly 25.000 of large mammals are living in the crater, the number of zebras, buffalos and wildebeests is particularly high. But you often also meet elands and gazelles. All of them are very "attractive" to lions, hyenas and leopards. Next to elephants and hippos there are still some black rhinos living in the crater, an endangered specie. On the crater rim Michael Grzimek († 1959) and his father Bernhard Grzimek († 1987) were buried. In the Sixties Bernhard Grzimek, a famous german zoologist, and his son had spent several years in the Serengeti National Park counting animals and documenting their migration. His documentary film ' Serengeti Shall Not' made Serengeti National Park known throughout the world. Dinner and overnight; Heritage Tented Camp.

Serengeti National Park

Day 5-6
After breakfast you will do full day game drive and see Millions of Wildbeest and Zebra roaming in Serengeti endles Plains. World´s famous National Park located 335 km from Arusha town, stretching north to Kenya and Lake Victoria to the west. The word Serengeti comes from Maasai word ´´Siringit´´ which means endless plains. The size of the park is 14,763 sq km makes it the second largest park in Tanzania after Ruaha National Park. Serengeti is famous due to great migration which involves about 2.5 millions animals which are moving searching for green pasture and water in order to survive. During migration wildebeest,zebra and gazelle will cover some 3,200 km and they will devour 4,000 tones of grass a day. Around 250,000 animals are born during the journey. Predators like lions, hyenas and leopards are usually following the migration as its easier to kills the week member of the herd as well as young animals. This park is the home of The Big Five (Rhino, Elephant, Leopard, Lion and buffalo) but Serengeti also has more than 500 different species of birds. Dinner and Overnight: Heritage Tented Camp.

Mto Wa Mbu

Day 6-7
After breakfast you will drive to Mto wa Mmbu town to do a cultural tour and enjoying a local lunch. Tour will involves the massai village visit where you see leran about the tribe and experience the Maasai dance.After that banana,rice plantation, Carving village, Painting workshops as well a local beer brewery. After Cultural tour you will drive to Fanaka lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Dodoma

Day 7-8
We will start the drive around 11.a.m and drive to Dodoma town. The drive will take 4 to 5 hours. Once in Dodoma we will just relax. Dinner and overnight: Hotel in Dodoma.

Ruaha National Park

Day 8-9
Among the biggest park in the country is Ruaha Nationa park. In this Park we will stay at Bandazi hostels which is direct at the Great ruaha river. Ruaha covers 20,226 km sq, previously the park covered 10,330 sq km but in 2008 the park was extended as Usangu Game Reserve area was added as a part of Ruaha National Park. The park history begins in 1910 as it was Gazzeted Saba Game Reserve by the Germans, and then in 1946 the name was changed by British to Rungwa Game Reserve. In 1974 the Rungwa Game reserve was Gazzeted Ruaha National Park. Only 20% of the park is actually accessed by road this left large part of the park completely untouched. Ruaha has 574 species of birds, 1,650 plants species has been recorded in the park. Ruaha has the highest concentration of elephants than any other National park in East Africa. The elephant’s population is estimated to reach 10,000. The park is also famous for big herds of African buffalos, zebra, giraffes, antelopes. There also many predators like Leopards, Cheetahs, Lions, Wild dogs, hyena as well as jackal. Many Hippos and Crocodiles can be spotted easily at Great Ruaha River. Ruaha represents the transition zone where Southern and Eastern Africa species Flora and Fauna overlap. Ruaha National Park

Day 9-10
In this we will do a game drive in the morning and go back to hostel for hot lunch. After hot lunch we will relax and enjoy the hippos in the river next to Bandazi hostel. Dinner and overnight;Ruaha Bandazi hostel

Ruaha National Park

Day 10-11
After breakfast we will do a full day drive inside Ruaha park. We will be back at the Bandazi hostel in the evening for dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight: Ruaha Bandazi hostel.

Mikumi

Day 11-12
In this day you will do walking Safari with Armed Ranger along Great ruaha river. This Walk will bring you close to Animals,birds, insects and Plants which lives inside the park.The walk will take approximately 3 hours.After walking Safari we will drive to Mikumi town to relax. Dinner and overnight; Camp Bastian.

Selous Game Reserve

Day 12-13
After breakfast we will drive to Selous Game reserve( now known as Nyerere National Park) Selous game reserve is one of the biggest reserve in the World as its even bigger than some countries like Switzerland. This day will be just a transfer and we wont do any game drive in this day. Selous Game Reserve was named after Sir Frederick Selous a big game hunter who died at Beho Beho in his territory 1917 while fighting against German during World War 2. Selous Game Reserve is located 490 km South-West of Dar es salaam. Selous Game Reserve is covering 50,000 sq km that makes it’s a largest game reserve in Africa, Bigger than Switzerland, four times bigger in size than Serengeti National Park. Selous is famous for the buffalo population as it has the highest buffalo population in Africa.2100 plants species had been recorded in this most wonderful Game Reserve in Africa. Animals like wild dogs, Roosevelt’s Sable, Eland, and Elephants are common in Selous Game Reserve. Leopard, Cheetah and Lions are also common. Selous’s Lions are famous for their punk-like manes which makes them to look different to other African Lions. Rhino are also found but in recent years are quit few compare to few decade ago. Selous Game Reserve includes diverse range of wildlife; The Game Reserve contains a great diversity of vegetation, ground water forest, swamps and lowland rain forest. In this day we will spend a night at Mloka village at Hippo camp.

Day 13-14
We will do a full day game drive in Selous game reserve. We will have a packed lunch with us. In this day we will do a game drive along the Rufiji river where thousands of animals are coming for water. Dinner and overnight at Hippo Camp.

Day 14-15
This will be a boat safari day, after breakfast we will take an engine boat and we will ride in Rufiji river and see big animals like Hippos,hundreds of birds, Crocodile and Fishes as well. Dinner and overnight:Hippo Camp.

Zanzibar

Day 15-16
After breakfast we will drive to Dar es salaam to take a Ferry to Zanzibar. Once in Stone town we will drive to Magic Western Part of the Isaland.Paje is one the best beaches in Zanzibar with White soft Sand and crystal clear and warm water. Zanzibar is made of many Islands but two main are Unguja (mainly known as Zanzibar) and Pemba. The name Zanzibar was derived from a combination of two Arabic words ‘’Zenji’’ which means Black and ‘’bar’’ which means Land. Zanzibar is the home of Swahili culture, Arabic and Indian culture. The Island is just 35 km from Tanzania Coast, 6° south of the equator. Zanzibar Island is 60 miles long and 20 miles wide. The islands are famous due to its unique and old history; The Persians came to Zanzibar in 10th Century followed by Portuguese in 15th Century. Portuguese arrived in Zanzibar in 1498 whilst charting route to India, The main interest were just to rest but the richness of Swahili traders attracted them. In 1503 Zanzibar was attacked by Portuguese under Captain Ruy Lourenco Rauasco who claimed most of the gold from Mwinyi Mkuu (Swahili ruler) Zanzibar has been passed by explorers like Speke, Bunton, Livingstone and Vasco da Gama in 1502 en route to India. Zanzibar is the best place to combine after safari for relaxing, after spending days in the bush and many hours sitting in a safari vehicle, its now a time to lay on the white sand beach watching African blood red sunset. One in Paje we will stay at Teddy Dinner and overnight; Teddy’s Place hotel.
