Super experience! Thanks for the organization and especially to our experienced, relaxed and always motivated and skipper Moritz! Otherwise great location, people and ship :-) A small suggestion for improvement would be to immediately add the participants to the Whatsapp group when they have registered. So you can coordinate regarding accommodation and ride, because we are now partly separately the same route, because we had already booked.

Day 1-2

From Athens airport it takes about 1 hour to get to Marina Alimos Kalamaki. It would be good if you could be at the port by early afternoon (2/15pm). We will meet at the port on the first day, go shopping together and get to know each other over dinner. During the trip we will cook on board, but also try the harbor restaurants. As we feel like it. On the first day there will be a briefing for you and your TripMates and then we will sleep the night on the boat in the harbor so we can get used to the gentle rocking (better than any cradle!).

If we feel like culture, today we sail only a few miles to the port of Hydra. This unique port, where the only means of transportation are donkeys and horse-drawn carriages, leaves nothing to be desired. During the day we can stroll through the alleys of the town and treat ourselves to a frappé, the typical Greek iced coffee, while listening to relaxing music. If you dare, jump off the cliffs in front of the bar into the crystal clear Mediterranean Sea.

We may have indulged in one or two Greek wines in the taverns of Hydra harbor and our day starts a little later than the others. We can simply choose the most beautiful bay of the island and have an extensive bathing day.

Our sailing adventure ends, as it should, with a proper sail from Poros to Athens. You will have the chance to apply everything you have learned during the last week, to tackle, to sail along.
