Budapest
Day 1-4
Budapest is divided into two parts, Buda and Pest, with the Danube river running right down the middle. The two parts are connected by several bridges. It is a vibrant city with so much to see and do. Our Accommodation will be within 3 km of the city center. On the first night, I think it will be nice to go out for dinner and get to know each other a bit more. A few of the activities I think we should look into doing are: - A hike to a nice viewpoint. - The Szechenyi Thermal Baths. - Taste the amazing food. - Evening sightseeing tour on the river Danube. (None of these are musts, we will decide as a group what we want to do and when)
2
Széchenyi Thermal Bath
Day 4
The must-visit Szechenyi Thermal Baths! They are the biggest and most popular of all the thermal baths in Budapest. It is also one of the biggest natural hot spring spa baths in Europe too. Szechenyi Bath was 100 years old in 2013! While you're here you can also get massage treatments and enjoy the saunas, the gym or relax by the pools with some beer or wine.
3
Budapest Jewish Walk
Day 4
Absolutely not to be missed while we are here is the food! The glorious food! There are plenty of food markets and stunning restaurants that we will be making the most of for sure. Also in the Jewish Quarter there are Budapest's famous ruin bars, eclectic boutiques, avant-garde galleries and even more great places to eat.
