Trip Itinerary
1
Palma de Mallorca Airport
Day 1
Start is at the airport in Palma. Here we pick up our rental car and then start in the direction of the northeast of the island. Very close to the small Mediterranean town of Pollenca we move into our finca with pool and let the day end relaxed. Maybe we barbecue together, go out to eat or cook together. We discuss this in advance via WhatsApp :-)
2
Pollença
Day 1-8
Here we spend our week in our own finca. We have breakfast together in the morning and make plans for our time in Mallorca. We look during the week to cook together or check out restaurants and tapas bars. The small town of Pollenca is right next door and we can always stroll through the beautiful old town.
3
Cap de Formentor
Day 8
The Cap Formentor is a station where we can throw insanely great views of the Mediterranean sea. Here we can look from a viewing platform into the distance. On the way there we can take a short hike to Cala Figuera, a small beautiful secluded bay, where the colors of the Mediterranean Sea enchant so that you do not want to leave. To Cap Formentor we can also take a slightly longer hike, if we feel like it.
4
Alcúdia
Day 8
Alcudia is on a hill and has a small walled beautiful southern European old town with great tapas bars, stores to stroll and store, the best ice cream in Mallorca (in my opinion) and a great sunset from the city walls. Not far from the old town is Port d'Alcudia. The tourist center of Alcudia right on the sea with countless bars and restaurants, shopping and a beautiful promenade. Here and in the surrounding area we can spend a day and when the sun is warm enough, chill nicely on the beach :-)
5
Sóller
Day 8
Soller is a beautiful place in the west of the island. From here you can take one of the most beautiful hikes in Mallorca along the coast in the direction of Deja. The hike is not very difficult, but beautiful! From Soller also runs the "Orange Express" to Port de Soller. This is a traditional train that travels through the beautiful countryside on the edge of the Tramuntana Mountains down to the port of Soler. The 30-minute ride is definitely an experience. If we have time after the hike, or you don't feel like hiking, this is definitely an option as well. :-)
6
Parc Natural de la Península de Llevant
Day 8
In the Natural Park de la Peninsula, in the east of the island, we can also enjoy great hikes. For those who have not yet had enough of the wide views and the landscape of Mallorca, this is the right option. In the nature park we might be lucky enough to see a Greek tortoise or two. For those who do not feel like hiking, for example, a road trip to the east of the island in the direction of Cala Ratjada is an idea.
7
Palma
Day 8
We can spend a day in Palma, feasting our way through the tapas stalls in the large market hall, do a little shopping and sightseeing. From Palma we can also take a boat trip to La Dragonera. The island is just a short distance from the main island of Mallorca and on it are countless lizards that we can observe. Definitely a highlight when you are on Mallorca. Both the boat trip and the island of La Dragonera.
8
Palma de Mallorca Airport
Day 8
On the last day we head home again. We check out of our accommodation together and drive to Palma to drop off the rental cars. If you have booked a later flight, you can store your luggage at the airport and take the bus back to the city for 5 €. After this week we are already looking forward to the next trip with you! :-)
