My name is Ankit and with an experience of more than a decade in the Himalayas, I have a deep connection with nature in the Himalayas, assisting people connect with the high mountains and navigating through the diverse rugged terrain. I feel privileged to have been a part of this country, where the diverse diversities are ready to inspire people and seek the ultimate joy in the Himalayas.

Details about the accommodation: In the capital city Kathmandu, a wide range of accommodation options are available, however, on this trip a 3-star Hotel is available. The mountains however provide a warm and cozy lodge with great views of the mountains and the landscape. A room is on sharing basis with twin beds and a blanket. Trip Itinerary

Kathmandu

Day 1-2
Arrival and transfer to Hotel. A private vehicle will be waiting for you at the Tribhuwan International airport and will transfer you your designated Hotel. After checking in and freshen up, trip briefing at the Hotel lobby followed by a welcome dinner at a Nepalese Resturant.

Lukla

Day 2-3
As per scheduled flight we take a Himalayan flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2860m) , for approximately 30 minutes with the views of Everest and neighboring mountains. The flight is a thrilling adventure on a twin otter plane and is definitely going to give you chills. After landing at Lukla , the first day of the hiking starts along the trail on the bank of Dudh Koshi river through the villages and forests . The hike goes on a comparatively easy trail , crossing few suspension bridges. Overnight at a local lodge at Phakding(2610m) .

Namche Bazar

Day 3-5
The hike from Phakding to Namche Bazaar(3440m) is a moderate hike , with plenty of uphill through several villages and pine forest. Also known as the gateway to Everest , this hill town is a major market place for the people of the region. Equipped with well facilitated lodges, bars, pubs and restaurants , Namche Bazar serves as a stop for acclimatization. Next day is reserved for hike to the Everest View Hotel, which is the highest elevated Hotel in the world . This hike is deemed necessary to prepare your body to adapt in the higher altitudes in coming days.

Tyangboche

Day 5-6
The biggest in the Solukhumbu region, Tengboche monastery is a major cultural highlight decorated with views of majestic mountain peaks. Tengboche(3860m) is one of the most renowned point of this trip for those interested in finding out more about Himalayan Tibetan culture. Foreigners are allowed inside the shrine and witness daily prayers and ceremonies.

Dingboche

Day 6-8
The hike continues along the Imja Tse river overlooking Mount Ama Dablam 6812m , one of the most iconic mountain peak in the world. The trail goes through rhododendron forest , and the tree line starts to disappear leading to the unique alpine grassland landscape of Dingboche (4350m) As a standard procedure , the next day is reserved for a side hike to the Nanggartshang peak as a acclimatization hike. It is a quite a stressful hike to the top , however the view from the top is a worthwhile.

Lobuche

Day 8-9
Today the hike heads towards Lobuche (4950m) , situated on the bank of Khumbu glacier which is also the world's highest elevated glacier. The walk may sometimes feel quite challenging due to it's uphill trail and altitude, however the views of the mountain peaks and the amazing landscape will make you forget al the hardship.

Gorakshep

Day 9-10
Gorakshep (5130m) , is the highest overnight stop during this trip with the availability of well facilitated accommodation. After checking in , we hike to Kalapathhar 5550 m for the view of sunset which offers the view of Everest in it's golden form due to the setting sun . The panoramic view of Everest and neighboring mountains is the main highlight of this trip. After sunset return back to the lodge for overnight.

Pheriche

Day 10-11
In the morning , wake up early to hike to the Everest Base Camp 5360m for sunrise . Being the base camp of the world's highest mountain peak , the experience is once in a lifetime worth. After spending some quality time at the EBC , the hike retraces back to Gorakshep for breakfast and continue descending to Pheriche, which is known for it's high altitude health post for combating any sort of mountain related sickness. Overnight at lodge.

Namche Bazar

Day 11
Today our hike descends back to Namche Bazar , following the mighty Dudh Koshi River. As the most of the trail is downhill , the hike is quite easy. After checking in , you can explore the hill town where you can visit the local bars and pubs.

Lukla

Day 11
From Namche , our hike retraces back to Lukla . In Lukla , you can celebrate the successful completion of your Everest Base Camp trek. Here , you can bid farewell to our porters and probably have some drink and dance with our crew. Overnight at lodge.

Kathmandu

Day 11-12
As per our scheduled flight back to Kathmandu , we take a 30 minute mountain flight. After landing , transfer back to your hotel. Remaining time is for leisure activities including some souvenir shopping. The evening is reserved for a farewell dinner.

TIA

Day 12
After the successful Everest Base Camp Trek , a vehicle will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport as per your scheduled flight back home. With a good memories of the Himalayas , we will finally bid farewell.
