Ultimate Zen on the hidden Anafi, Greek island: One of Greece's best kept secrets (Shared Room)

Guided trip
Anafi is a small island tucked in the Cyclades next to the infamous Santorini. I was fortunate enough to stumble upon this island and discover the hidden paradise on this planet. Every month in Anafi shares different beauty of the nature and energy of the people. As much as I adore every time of the year on this island, late May and June have become one of my favorite times to enjoy the peace and quiet before the peak of tourist season. So, I am going back this year to recharge myself to continue the rest of the year. And I would love to share this experience with more people. The island is very quiet in June. So, this trip is for someone who wants to enjoy the ULTIMATE ZEN without worrying about researching or organizing for the trip. Once you are on the island, I have you covered. You will feel the abundance of nature and learn to appreciate the way Anafi welcomes you. So, if you are looking for the life of the party, this trip is NOT for you. I would like to coexist on this island as we stay fluid in our surroundings and time spent together. We will climb our way up the biggest monolith in the Mediterranean, which nests a monastery on top, enjoy local food and fish freshly caught on the day, gaze over the horizon as the Sun sets, and monopolize the beach with little to no people. If the stars align, we might be able to arrange a wine tour at the one and only vineyard on Anafi by chef Stefanos Michalis. (Maybe) What's included: 🏠 Accommodation (Shared, private, and couple options available) 🍳 Breakfast 🚗 Transportation within the island (Itinerary activities only) Not Included: 🍻 Food and beverages other than breakfast 🚕 Non-itinerary-related transportation cost ✈️ Your traveling cost to and from the island The accommodation is a few steps away from a beautiful beach where you will find a relaxing open-air bar and a must-try Aegean-cuisine-certified restaurant run by chef Spyros Tselentis, and whose owner aims to establish a zero-waste circular economy in the local community. (This restaurant will provide us with breakfast. By the way, their Kayana –a Greek scrambled egg with tomato, herbs, and cheese– is to die for 🤤). I will handle all the transportation on the island and it's on me. But, if you make any trips for yourself that are beyond the given itinerary, that will be on you. Of course, I will help you arrange them. When you confirm your participation, I will send you detailed instructions on how to get to the island and small tips to make your journey more pleasant. Keep in mind that the Greek ferry schedules are not confirmed yet for the season and will hear the next update on April 11th. But, usually, the dates fluctuate by less than 48hrs. Feel free to ask me any questions about the trip! I am only a click away.

Trip Itinerary
1

Anafi

Day 1-6
The island is only a few kilometers away from the infamous Santorini island. You may have wondered, 'well, where do the local people in Santorini go for a vacation?' You guessed it right. Their sweet escape is a short boat trip to Anafi for peace and quiet. Emerald ocean blue sea with clean water and fresh fish you cannot say no to. We will also visit hora for food, calm nightlife with quality music, and some shopping. 🐬🐬🐬 Many places are not spotted on Google Maps so I could not include everything in this visual itinerary. But, I am happy to tell you more in person if you want to hop on a call.
2

Sacred Monastery of Virgin Mary the Kalamiotissa

Day 6
We will climb the ancient path they used to build the monastery. It's about a 1hr30m climb (one way), but it can be less than an hour if you are feeling ambitious. The view from the monastery humbles you in the presence of awe-inspiring mother nature and what she offers us in abundance. For a moment, the sound of the wind will immerse with your own breath and only a distant sound of wandering goats in the mountain and their bells will occupy your mind. We will collect sea salt from the sacred water after.
3

Klisidi beach

Day 6
This will be our main beach. It is a medium size beach that is long enough to find some privacy, but not so big that you are out of breath just trying to walk back out of it. The water is shallow and you can see small fish around your feet from above the water. There is a friendly open-air bar that's just gone through renovation for its new face. The best bloody mary I've ever had. Hands down. We will also visit other beaches on the island, but google map seems to struggle to pick up the location. There are at least 4 more beaches I want to bring you depending on the weather and the direction of the wind.
4

Livskopos beach

Day 6
The north of Anafi has a very different climate than its south-side beaches. Livskopos is the crispest and most emerald water you dream of when arriving in Greece. The beach only has sun during the day so this one will be an early-in-the-day visit.
5

Άγιος Νικόλαος

Day 6
To experience the port life of Anafi, we will visit Popi's fish restaurant and watch the fishermen come and go by the port. If we are lucky, we might be able to catch them bringing the fish from the sea or sorting their nets to organize their next trip.
