Anafi is a small island tucked in the Cyclades next to the infamous Santorini. I was fortunate enough to stumble upon this island and discover the hidden paradise on this planet. Every month in Anafi shares different beauty of the nature and energy of the people. As much as I adore every time of the year on this island, late May and June have become one of my favorite times to enjoy the peace and quiet before the peak of tourist season. So, I am going back this year to recharge myself to continue the rest of the year. And I would love to share this experience with more people. The island is very quiet in June. So, this trip is for someone who wants to enjoy the ULTIMATE ZEN without worrying about researching or organizing for the trip. Once you are on the island, I have you covered. You will feel the abundance of nature and learn to appreciate the way Anafi welcomes you. So, if you are looking for the life of the party, this trip is NOT for you. I would like to coexist on this island as we stay fluid in our surroundings and time spent together. We will climb our way up the biggest monolith in the Mediterranean, which nests a monastery on top, enjoy local food and fish freshly caught on the day, gaze over the horizon as the Sun sets, and monopolize the beach with little to no people. If the stars align, we might be able to arrange a wine tour at the one and only vineyard on Anafi by chef Stefanos Michalis. (Maybe) What's included: 🏠 Accommodation (Shared, private, and couple options available) 🍳 Breakfast 🚗 Transportation within the island (Itinerary activities only) Not Included: 🍻 Food and beverages other than breakfast 🚕 Non-itinerary-related transportation cost ✈️ Your traveling cost to and from the island The accommodation is a few steps away from a beautiful beach where you will find a relaxing open-air bar and a must-try Aegean-cuisine-certified restaurant run by chef Spyros Tselentis, and whose owner aims to establish a zero-waste circular economy in the local community. (This restaurant will provide us with breakfast. By the way, their Kayana –a Greek scrambled egg with tomato, herbs, and cheese– is to die for 🤤). I will handle all the transportation on the island and it's on me. But, if you make any trips for yourself that are beyond the given itinerary, that will be on you. Of course, I will help you arrange them. When you confirm your participation, I will send you detailed instructions on how to get to the island and small tips to make your journey more pleasant. Keep in mind that the Greek ferry schedules are not confirmed yet for the season and will hear the next update on April 11th. But, usually, the dates fluctuate by less than 48hrs. Feel free to ask me any questions about the trip! I am only a click away.
