Ultimate Serengeti to Zanzibar Trip: Explore the Best of Tanzania

Day 1 Arrival at Arusha/ Kilimanjaro Airport You will be picked up at the airport and transferred to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you can spend the day discovering Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti National Park Pick up at 6:30 AM from your hotel in Arusha with Lunch boxes and proceed towards Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngoro Ngoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. Overnight at Tumbili camp site Day 3 & 4: Serengeti National Park Full game Drive North and South These two days you will have a full day game drive in Serengeti with chances to see predators chasing their pray and enjoy their kill. Serengeti is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value. You will have game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti with a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Overnight at Tumbili camp site. Lunch and dinner inclusive. Day 5: Serengeti- Zanzibar After breakfast, we will be taken to the Seronera airport for a flight to Zanzibar.

Day 5. Zanzibar Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be transferred to hotel in Shamba, where you can take in the views of the Indian Ocean and enjoy a refreshing swim in the in the beautifully beaches at night (Dinner not included). Day 6: Safari blue trip-Fumba Morning we set down on one of the beautiful sandbanks where one can relax, swim or snorkel. There are plenty of good quality snorkeling equipment’s and the experienced snorkeling guides will show you the pristine coral reef, which teems with tropical sea life. Instruction is also available for beginners, fresh coconuts and local snacks are available throughout the day. After snorkeling we go to Kwale island where we have our “Desert Island” restaurant. The buffet lunch includes fish, slipper lobster, calamari, rice and sauces all served hot from the grill. The crews also prepare and present a gastronomic fruits tasting with a large selection of delicious tropical fruits, ice cold sodas, mineral waters, a delicious Zanzibar seafood lunch with grilled fish and slipper lobster Day 7. Stone town tour This day we will relax and check out in the hotel at 11am ready to visit stone town. Once reaching in stone town we will check-in in the hotel and explore stone town. We will Witness and take photos of the giant tortoises in the Prison Island. And learn the short history of the Prison island, Learn the History & culture of Zanzibar locals with a local professional tour guide in Stone Town by visiting most iconic places. You will see; House of Wonders, Freddie Mercury House, Former Slave Market, Sultan’s Palace. Later at night we will walk to the famous Forodhani market where you can have See foods of all kinds. Only Breakfast included Day 8: Transfer to the Airport, Goodbye! After 8 days of your Serengeti- Zanzibar vacation, you will take your flight back home that day. I will make sure to arrange a driver will take you from the Hotel based on your flight timings and I hope you end up with a lot of memories and a few souvenirs, too!
