We will travel as a small group of 8 passengers and share a mini-van. As for accommodation, I prefer boutique hotel/resort or private villa. Based of personal preference and budget, trip members can choose either private or shared room. Trip-mates will have time to explore local life, people and culture on their own. Day 1-2

- Late morning: Upon arrival in Da Nang, check-in hotel. Explore Da Nang's most popular beaches including My Khe Beach, Non Nuoc Beach, and Lang Co Beach which offer soft, golden sands and warm, crystal-clear waters. - Evening: Free time at leisure. - Stay in Da Nang.

An Bang Beach

Day 2-3

- Morning: Explore Son Tra Peninsula, Marble Mountains and Ba Na Hills. - Afternoon: Transfer to Hoi An and stroll around the old town. Head to An Bang Beach ranked as one of Asia’s top 25 most beautiful beaches by TripAdvisor. - Evening: Free time at leisure. - Stay at An Bang Beach.

Hue

Day 3-4

- Morning: Spend a relaxing time swimming and sunbathing on An Bang Beach. - Afternoon: Transfer to Da Nang railway station, then get on the train to Hue. On the way, enjoy the most beautiful route on train travel in Vietnam. On arrival, check in hotel. - Evening: Free time at leisure. - Stay in Hue.

Hue

Day 4-5

- Morning: Explore the Imperial City, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the political and cultural center of the Nguyen Dynasty. - Afternoon: Get the marathon race bib. Watch the beautiful sunset at Tam Giang Lagoon - 30km from Hue. - Evening: Free time at leisure, relaxation and for preparation for the early-morning marathon race next day. - Stay in Hue.

Day 5-6

- Morning: Join the marathon race. - Afternoon: Transfer to Cua Viet beach in Quang Tri. Check in hotel. Free time to rest and relax on the beach. - Evening: Explore Quang Tri Citadel - mostly remembered as the site of the Second Battle of Quang Tri during the Vietnam War. - Stay at Cua Viet Beach.

Day 6-7

- Full day to explore Truong Son National Military Cemetery, Khe Sanh Combat Base - a United States Marine Corps outpost south of the Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) used during the Vietnam War, and Lao Bao Border Checkpoint - one of the crucial international border gates of Vietnam. - Evening: Free time at leisure. - Stay at Cua Viet Beach.

Day 7-8

- After an early breakfast, get on the boat to Con Co Island - also known as Tiger Island which, during the Vietnam War, was used as a base for North Vietnamese military forces. Spend time to admire coral reefs and lively undersea world, go trekking to explore the forest, and visit historical sites. - Evening: Free time at leisure. - Stay on Con Co island.

Day 8

- Morning: get on the boat back to Cua Viet Beach. Then explore Vinh Moc Tunnel, the DMZ, La Vang Holy Land - an important pilgrimage site, not only for Catholics but also for non-religious and international tourists. - Have a good-bye lunch. End of trip.
