Trip Itinerary

Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport (SRG)

Day 1
Welcome to the capital city of Central Java, Semarang. Upon your arrival in Semarang, I will pick you up with a private car from the airport, and we will go to your accommodation for check-in, freshen up, and we will start our journey in a moment. Note : As famous as it sounds, Semarang is quite famous as a hot city, therefore we are considering how you’d adapt with our city’s weather, moreover with the possibility of Jet lag as well. Please come around 3 pm, and we are ready to pick you around that time.
2

Kota Lama Semarang

Day 1-2
The first stop of our journey in Semarang city would be Kota Lama. "Kota" means "City" and "Lama" means "Old" As the name suggests, it is the old city where you can find many old buildings left by the Dutch during the Colonial Era. It’s also a historical place that holds a lot of story and evidence that Semarang was once an advanced city in the past. It was also famous as it’s been called “A little Netherland” around here. While we spend the rest of the evening here, we also can have a little dinner together in one of the cafés her as we get to know each other before you can stroll freely (or having me to give you a small tour around the place, it’ll all optional) until the time we are agreed on to pick you up back to your accommodation place.
3

Kampung Batik Gedong Semarang

Day 2
Indonesia is a home of Batik and Indonesia itself has a lot of diversity, each of the places that hold batik in their tradition has their own influence of the patterns and story behind it, Semarang is also one of them. Kampung Batik means A Batik Village, in this place you could learn about the batik making process as well as making one by yourself and also learning the history behind this village, and also conduct photography around this village as well.
4

Lawang Sewu

Day 2-3
We are off to the next destination that is one of the main landmarks in Semarang City. "Lawang" means door and "Sewu" means a thousand. As people may expect, the building has lots of doors, as if it comes with a thousand of them. Even though people call it a thousand-doors building, it doesn't mean it comes with such an exact number of doors. According to the local government, there are only 342 doors. It holds a historical value about the Dutch that used to reside in Semarang and built this place as their government office in the past. After we are done visiting these two places today, we will head to the next city, Magelang for about a 3-hour ride and check in there for your next accommodation.
5

Punthuk Setumbu Puncak View Sunrise

Day 3
Who doesn’t love to catch a sunrise? We are off in the early morning and head to this sunrise-gazing spot to watch the sunrise together. The view is very breathtaking from here and Punthuk Setumbu will be your best spot to have during your trip in Magelang, it’s not only to watch the nature nuance, but also you can enjoy the tranquility of the foggy morning with the best scenery of Borobudur.

Ketep Pass

Day 3
Did you know that Central Java is surrounded by many volcanoes and mountains? Those include the Merapi, Merbabu, Sumbing, Sindoro and Slamet mountain. After we spend our morning in Punthuk Setumbu we are off to Ketep Pass. It's a place where you can see directly through the mountains, and it's the most beautiful yet picturesque thing. From the side of the Ketep pass, you can go for a walk to adore the beauty of Merapi and later inside this place, there is also a museum where you can find many things about the past eruption of Mt. Merapi.

The construction began in 1758, and it was completed in 1765. It is located in Patehan Village and belongs to Kraton Sub-District. Moreover, it also resides near to the famous Kraton Palace.
