Everest View Trek, although relatively easy compared to some other treks, takes you up high along trails to the Tengboche Monastery (3850m). This is a short trek but very scenic and offers superb views of the world's highest peaks, including Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, and other many snowy peaks. This trek is recommended for those who don’t have much time for a long trek but are still interested to view Everest from close by. Hi, this is me John, based in Kathmandu, Nepal. I am a professional trekking and tour guide certified by Nepal Government. As a TripLeader, I am responsible for organizing and leading trekking and tour expeditions throughout Nepal. Kathmandu

Day 1-2
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m) Welcome to the Land of adventure- the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu. One of our company representatives will greet you outside the international airport to pick up you. You will be transferred in a private vehicle to the respective hotel. If you arrive in the daytime, you can explore the narrow street of Thamel. The company representative will meet you for your trip details explanation. Accommodation: Hotel

Kathmandu

Day 2-3
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Today your tour guide will meet you at your hotel and take you to the midst of Kathmandu Valley where you are going to explore the medieval period historical cultural and religious sites; Swayambhunath is also known as 'Money Temple', Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, and the Hindu famous site- Pashupatinath. All this trip you are going to do in a private vehicle with your English-speaking tour guide where you don't need to pay any entrance fees of the monuments and the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Enjoy your day tour will fullness. Explore the local market and the Newari culture and the people over there. If you are a food lover, you can ask one of the best Newari food restaurants to your tour guide. Your tour guide will assist you. Meal: breakfast Accommodation: Hotel

Phakding

Day 3-4
Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2,840m) from Kathmandu and trek to Phakding (2,610m) We have an early flight from Kathmandu towards Lukla, it is said to be one of the most beautiful flights in the world with views that will give you memories for a lifetime. After arriving in Lukla we start this short trek towards Phakding. After the police check post, we descend towards the Dudh Khosi River and continue further downwards until reaching the village of Phakding our overnight stay of the day. Namche Bazar

Day 4-5
Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441m) After breakfast continues towards Namche Bazaar, the biggest town in the Everest region. Our trail follows the Khumbu Khola (river) and we cross it many times until Jangbu from where we start to ascend. Beautiful valley landscape views await us. After a half-day ascending the trail becomes steeper until reaching the town of Namche Bazaar. Before reaching the town we can stop at Everest View Point from where we can have our first look at the mighty mountain. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar. Meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner Accommodation: Lodge/Mountain Teahouse

Everest View Point

Day 5-6
Day 5: Explore Namche Bazaar: acclimatization day Today we are spending one more day acclimatized ourselves. On this day, we are going to ascend higher points of Namche Bazaar hike up to Everest View Hotel and the outskirts of Namche. Explore the biggest hill-town of the Everest region. Namche is one of the biggest human settlements in the Everest region. After onwards, the human inhabitant is fewer as we head to the higher elevation. Enjoy your today hiking. Tyangboche

Day 6-7
Day 6: Trek to the Tengboche Monastery (3,860m) An early rise and we start our trek towards the Tengboche Monastery. The trail becomes steeper and the path becomes harder. Crossing various suspension bridges, passing through forest trails that come out in incredible views of the Himalayas, and passing sacred Buddhist Stupas the path climbs up more and more until reaching the Tengboche Monastery. The monastery is beautifully decorated and praying bells await you on the outside. A beautiful spot for Everest viewing. For our overnight stay, we will lodge in Tengboche. Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner Accommodation: Lodge/Mountain Teahouse

Namche Bazar

Day 7-8
Day 7: Descend back to Namche Bazaar (3,441m) We start our trek back towards the big town of Namche Bazaar. The trail all too familiar becomes more pleasant as it is all downhill from here. Retracing our steps until reaching Namche Bazaar for our overnight stay. Meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner Accommodation: Lodge/Mountain Teahouse

Lukla

Day 8-9
Day 8: Descend back to Lukla; the ending point of our trekking After our breakfast, we descend back to Pakhding and follow the Dudh Kosi River until ascending back to Lukla where we stay for the night. Meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner Accommodation: Lodge/Mountain Teahouse

Kathmandu

Day 9-10
Day 9: Fly back to the capital city, Kathmandu A morning flight brings us back to Kathmandu end concludes our short trek. Arriving at the airport you will be transferred to your hotel. With the rest of the day free to explore the Kathmandu valley. Meals: breakfast Accommodation: Hotel

Tribhuvan International Airport

Day 10-11
Day 10: Trip Conclude Today as per your schedule our trip ends. One of our company representatives will drop you at the international airport in a private vehicle. Have a safe flight back to your home. Meals: breakfast
