Hello everyone it's time to take a break in the cradle of italian food! This trip is for people who love cooking and visiting historic places, a perfect mix between tradition and marvelous landscape in the bolognese countryside. About myself: I'm Clara, 30 years old, I live near Bologna and I have experience as a trip leader both in Italy and Europe. My travel style is mainly cultural and economical, I enjoy city life and eating food, chilling, and relaxing around. What will be included in the price: . Bologna

Day 1-2

After meeting at central station we'll go to our Airbnb and when we'll leave our luggage the fun starts! We will go to the city center and walk all around, a visit is programmed to San Petronio Basilica and after this fantastic church, we'll see the art collection at Palazzo D'Accursio, Bologna's town hall. After this trip we will get a traditional italian aperitivo, tasting good drinks and food!

Bologna

Day 2-3

As the photo suggest you get what this sunday morning will wait for us: a cooking lesson with an italian family. We will enjoy creating tipical italian pasta and then eat all together as italians do every sunday! In the afternoon we will go back to the center and go up Torre degli Asinelli to enjoy the view of the city!

Ferrara

Day 3

Daily trip to Ferrara, UNESCO World Heritage Site, this provincial city is really popular in between emiliani. There's a lot to see and that's what we plan to do! During the morning we will take the train to arrive in there, a programmed visit to the iconic medieval castle, home of Este House. After lunch we will see the rest of the historic center and enjoy the architecture all around the city!

Marzabotto

Day 3-4

25th April is an important date for italians, Liberation Day from fascism, this town over the bolognese mountain is really known for a tragedy happened during II World War, every year the town organize a cultural event to remember the victims and lot of activities are planned for the day: hiking in the memorial park, speeches, music and lot of people gather here to enjoy all this. It's the most important way to celebrate the felt commemoration, but also the best way to breath fresh air out of the city. A driver will bring us up to the mountain in the morning and later in the afternoon we will come back! It's time to say goodbye but there wouldn't be best way to do it, maybe with new friends known in this journey? Maybe with something not all the tourist who come to this city could tell others?
