Had you ever walked through the Cherry Blossom trees in Japan? If your answer like mine, it's nope. This is our perfect trip! We will be on the spring during one of the most expected times of the year, Cherry Blossom! Let's get the pink-pics! Japan is one of the most enigmatic and fabulous places in the world. It’s a country where modern and old merge into an amazing and authentic culture that proudly preserves their thousands of years of history while showing a tremendous advance in modernity. It’s the land of the Samurais, Geishas, Onsen, Sakuras, Castles and legends. But also the home of bullet trains, IA, robots, wearables, technology 5G. Also cool things like Nintendo, Karaoke, Pokemon, Harajuku girls, Anime, Hello Kitty, J-pop, Sake, Sushi, Ramen, and so many more. I had the pleasure to visited Japan for the first time back in 2018. Since then, I fiercely wanted to go back. Due to COVID-19, I had to wait until the openning after 2 years. I'm super excited to go on October this 2023 already with trip mates from Join My Trip! I’m always happy to visit this country and have the opportunity to share it with new friends. To discover it's beauty, we will travel to some of the most amazing cities: Tokyo - Nikko - Takayama - Shirakawa-go - Kyoto - Osaka - Hiroshima - Koyasan and more!
About me: I have 16 years of experience in Tourism, Hotels, and the Industry of Service. It was my 1st degree. My 2nd is Fashion Design. I love both as much as I love to travel. So I have experience on groups and solo trips since 2005. I’ve been group leader and traveler within all those years. I’ve passed tons of experiences so believe me when I say, I DO know what is to be far from home, and I’ve learned how to enjoy, relax and overcome the circumstances. No trip, it’s ever the same. Each one, it’s unique and memorable somehow. That’s why I always look forward to the next adventure!
Transportation hack: Once you book your trip, I highly recommend you to buy 1 JRail Pass for 14 days per person. With this amazing pass, we can travel through bullet trains all over the country and subways in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka! You need to buy this pass at least 2 weeks before our departure so it has the right time to arrive. According to their website, the cost on 2024 for the JRail Pass for 1 person, 14 days, will be around ¥80,000. This is still worth it compared to the fares if you pay each train, subway and bus on your own. * Some additional transportation costs will be needed at some stops and cities. But must of them are covered with this great JR Pass! In the end, it is completely up to you to buy it or not :) Accommodation Details: We will stay at cool hostels in the big cities, cozy accommodations in small towns, a beautiful Buddhist Temple at Koyasan, Shukubo. I selected a nice collection of places to try the Japanese old and new culture. Most of them are in centric places, close to public transportation and convenience stores. * At Tokyo, we will have breakfast included for March 25th. So that is on the beginning of the trip. Menu its provided directly by the hostal and cannot be modified. Accept the challenge and let’s discover the jewels of Japan. This is a trip to remember lifetime! “Even the longest journey begins with a single step.” - Japanese Proverb
