Be a part of a small crew ready to spend 9 days uncovering anything that Jordan has to offer. The mindset needed: a sense of adventure, curiosity but also cultural sensitivity and respect to the local traditions, habits etc. As a member of our team, you will have an opportunity to do a wholistic immersion into Jordan's wonders, cultural, natural and culinary. We will visit and explore the well known landmarks, but also wander a little off the beaten path to explore hidden gems that may outshine the mainstream 🤯 We will explore the Wadi Rum desert, sleep in one of the desert camps ran by Bedouins 🐪, hike the Wadi Aheimir Canyons, see the iconic Petra Archeological Site, get lost in the alleys of Amman and experience the local historical sites and finally float in the Dead Sea before coming back to Aqaba (alternatively you may also finish in Amman to travel back home from there). The spoken language of the tour will be English 🇬🇧, although I also speak some Italian and German. About me: I am Maciek, a 28 years old Polish guy working in Renewable Energy in Denmark. Due to a 3-month break in between two jobs, I decided to spend that whole time on travelling. I have lived in Poland, Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands, now about to move to Germany. I am a curious traveller, who loves to prepare himself in terms of local culture, history and geography. I'm a passionate amateur analog photographer (therefore expect loads of opportunities to shoot incredible photos), a diver (we could arrange a dive in Aqaba) and a sailplane pilot. I like to think that I am a fun and sociable person, a curious mind and a good trip planner. I adore nature, architecture, art and I admire both natural and man-made aesthetics. I would like to keep this trip a little spontaneous and use all the opportunities we could come across. There will be space to discuss any additional activities such as culinary courses or anything else we could want to do. Included: ✅ A car for the whole trip ✅ Two nights on the desert, breakfast, traditional dinner and a desert exploration excursion ✅ Wadi Rum site entrance fee ✅ Petra UNESCO site entrance fee ✅ ACCOMMODATION in private apartments (shared rooms), desert camps, hostels and maybe a hotel near Dead Sea depending on our preference and final budget. I had assumed a standard price per person, having researched the market, but in case we get to pay less or more, we will run an appropriate accounting session, so everything is perfectly transparent. As the accommodation price may depend on the number of people, I wish to retain the maximum possible flexibility. Not included: ❌ Car fuel ❌ Flights ❌ Personal expenses ❌ Additional activities, guiding fees etc. ❌ Jordan Pass (MANDATORY: you will need to get it yourself to get access to all the historical sites as well as obtain the visa to the country - Jordan Wanderer option is enough) ❌ Travel insurance (free for German and Austrian residents) Reach out to me if this travel model sounds appealing, and you'd like to know something more :) I'll be happy to answer any of your questions.

Trip Itinerary
1
Aqaba
Day 1-2
The starting point is Aqaba, the seaside city of Jordan. One can reach it by flying to Aqaba, Eilat in Israel or by taking a bus from Amman. We will spend the day on finding our accommodation, wandering around the town and potentially on participating in one of the extra activities such as a dive, or a cooking course. The next morning, I pick up the rental car, and we'll be off to...
2
Wadi Rum Reserve
Day 2-4
We will spend two nights in the Wadi Rum reserve, as it is essential to spend at least one whole day roaming the desert. Bedouin breakfast and dinner party included! We will get a 4x4 pickup, that will drive us around the ones of the most incredible forms of nature this whole region has to offer!
3
المهجر القديم(سيق العجوز)
Day 4
We are going to investigate the incredible Canyon of Wadi Aheimir. Based on a story of a close family member, it is an absolute must. It is possible to visit the most spectacular part of the canyon within half-a-day hike, and that is what I am aiming to do. Locally, I will communicate with a guy called Abu Sabbah, who may organize a guide for us (I have his business card thru a family member).
4
Wadi Musa
Day 4-6
We will spend the whole day in Petra, approaching the site from the upper entrance, which will allow us to walk against the main tourist current and have a little more freedom in exploring this otherwise touristic site. There will be a chance to find a few secluded places to admire this pearl without hundreds of people around us.
5
Dana
Day 6
We will try to hike Wadi Ghuweir, although due to flash flood risk this may be impossible if the forecast does not allow us to enter. Alternatively, we can explore the Dana Natural Reserve. The Reserve has many interesting activities to participate in, I am sure we will be able to find something very exciting.
6
Amman Tourist Beach Resort
Day 6-7
Here, we will use our chance to dip in the Dead Sea and stay overnight either in an apartment in the surroundings. We will have an option to go to the Amman Tourist Beach or to find one of the wild beaches and be completely secluded. Up to us.
7
Amman
Day 7-9
We will spend the evening after the Dead Sea experience as well as the whole next day on wandering around Amman (and if we feel like, visit a Roman archeological site of Jerash). We will adjust the trip depending on where you wish to end your trip. I will be coming back by car to Aqaba.
8
Aqaba
Day 9
The end of my trip is again in Aqaba. I will return the car there and continue my journeys in the Middle East. We can adjust the travelling time according to your travel requirements. I look forward to hearing from you!
