The city’s restaurants and bars merge with the casinos of adjacent Stateline, Nevada. West of the city, Emerald Bay State Park includes Vikingsholm, a 1929 Nordic-style mansion. We’ll hit the slopes of Heavenly Ski Resort which is only 3 miles away from the house and one of the largest resorts in the area. Heavenly Mountain Resort is a ski resort located on the California–Nevada border in South Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. It opened for business on December 15, 1955 and has 97 runs and 30 lifts that are spread between California and Nevada and four base facilities. Options are snowmobiling one day on the north shore. A day trip to downtown South Lake Tahoe to check out the scenery, the Casinos, and grab some drinks/food.
