Trip Itinerary
1
Dubrovnik
Day 1-2
30th August: Day one is arrival day. We will make our way to our accommodation and get to know each other. Depending on what time we all arrive, we could explore some of Old Town and end our day with dinner and sunset.
2
Dubrovnik Cable Car
Day 2-3
31st August: Depending on what we managed to visit the day before, Day two will start off with exploring Old Town (including Luza Square, Dominican monastery, St Blaise’s Church and more). Dubrovnik is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites, and so much of the city is reconstructed and preserved beautifully. We can grab a bite to eat before exploring the City Walls as well as Fort Lovrijenac. Fort Lovrijenac is an incredible structure with a view of the sea. City Walls wrap around Old town and were built (between the 11th and 17th century) to offer protection from attacks. Today, they offer a spectacular view of the city- perfect for photos. 📸 For our final stop of the day, we will hike to Mount Srđ (which takes around an hour/hour and a half from Old Town) for the breathtaking view of Dubrovnik. We will then take the cable car to continue looking at the view (and of course to rest our feet) before making our way back to our accommodation. I am aiming to arrive at the top before sunset, so we can ride the cable car for sunset because I am sure it will be beautiful.

Betina Cave beach
Day 3-4
1st of September: Day three will be full of water and sand! We have a couple of options to start the day off. We could go to beaches, Danče and Banje if we are feeling more of a chill day. Or we could leave early and go to Lokrum Island. Lokrum island is a small island and nature reserve. We could go strolling around the island, visit the botanical gardens 🌺and swim! It is only 15 minutes from Old town, so perfect for a half-day trip. The tickets for the ferry and island fee are 200 Kuna. We will have to be back in Old Town at 4:30pm because we will be taking part in a (2-2.5hr) sunset kayaking tour 🚣♀️ I have booked a kayaking and snorkelling tour with local tour guides. We will kayak along the coastline-exploring the city from a different perspective. We also get a chance to go swimming and snorkelling (snorkelling equipment provided) at Betina beach cave.

Dubrovnik Airport
Day 4
2nd of September: Unfortunately, on day four, we say our goodbyes. Depending on everyone’s departure times, we could grab a coffee or even a quick lunch before heading our separate ways. We can decide the day before.
