A spectacular 17day road trip around central-north Romania. The itinerary I've prepared is a loop starting from and finishing in the capital city of Bucharest. By driving around with a rental car and staying at B&B/guesthouses we will visit: Brasov, Peles Castle, the Szekély Region with the Red Lake in Bicaz Gorge, the Bucovina Region with its painted Monasteries and pottery craft shops, the Maramures Region with its wooden Churches and riding the last steam train in Europe, Turda Salt Mines, Sighisoara, the Fagaras Mountain driving on the Transfagarasan scenic road, the Transilvania region with its villages and famous Castles (included Bran, Dracula's Castle). The last 2 days will be fully dedicated to Bucharest. ---

About Me! Hi there, I'm Tatiana, your next trip-leader :D I'm an experienced traveller. For the past 10 years I've planned and organized my own trips, mostly travelling solo, or in small groups. I'm a frugal traveller: I like to keep it simple, affordable, and stress-free. I love the thrill of a new adventure, of understanding how to navigate local transportation, of tasting new foods, of visiting cultural heritage and well as natural sceneries. I have witty sense of humor and tons of travelling stories to tell!

Preference goes to small B&Bs, family guesthouses, apartments, or hostels. When available, we might have the breakfast included. To keep it frugal and cheap, if single beds are't be available or too expensive, we will have to share double beds. When available, we might use the accommodation kitchen to cook and share meals. Any questions about the trip? You can let me know in the Q&A section!
