Peyote Experience Camping Trip into Wirikuta Desert, Mexico

Guided trip
What's special?
special The peyote experience
The desert of San Luis Potosí is a special place like few others in Mexico. It is a blissful, magical, sacred place, where a sacred cactus grows: the peyote. On this trip we are going into the desert and live an experience that will mark a before and after in your life. I was born in San Luis Potosi. Since I had my first experience ten years ago, I have been returning to taking this medicine with friends and others who are seeking the peyote vision. If you are looking to take a trip inside yourself, get to know yourself better, see the art within you, connect with the desert and share with other people, this trip is for you.

About me! I am 37 years old and I live in Querétaro. I am always moving. Traveling on foot, by car and bicycle through many places. I like to meet new people and talk. I care about of others and like to listen them deeply.

Details about the accommodation: On this trip, we camped in the middle of the desert. There is no electricity, no water, no bathrooms, no signal. It is a completely remote place. The next day, the last night of our trip, we slept in adobe houses in beds to sleep well and also be able to interact with the local people. If you have questions about the trip you can let me know in the Q&A section! I will reply to you as soon as possible and maybe we can have a call to share more details about the trip if you want!

Trip Itinerary
1

Santiago de Querétaro

Day 1-2
I drive us in car from Querétaro to Las Margaritas desert. It is a long journey of 5 hours, so I recommend staying one night in Querétaro and leave early in the morning.
2

Las Margaritas

Day 2-4
The plan is to sleep the first two nights camping in the desert. Set up the camp, look for wood, recognize the territory, basically create a safe place for us. The second or first night, depending on how we feel, we will have our experience.
3

Estación Wadley

Day 4-5
After walking through the desert we slept in an adobe hostel still in the desert. A hostel made of earth managed by people from the same community. The idea is to sleep well, rest and have a place to shower after having been camping.
4

Centro

Day 5-6
We drive from the desert to Querétaro, where our trip finally ends. My recommendation would be to stay here one night and then everyone continue on their way home.
