I work remotely with a start-up (flexible hours) and I explore Europe during my weekends. ✈️ I'm quite bubbly and my time is best spent being around people with similar energy and interests, exchanging stories, watching sunsets, hiking, and trying new foods and activities. Here are a few details about the trip: - I'm looking for 5 girls who are open-minded, easygoing and don't mind sharing bedrooms. - I will be working remotely (a few hours a day on weekdays) so the trip is tailored to have time together in the morning and evening. However, if we all have flexible schedules, we can see what works for us! 🥳 - A great excuse to be more productive during working hours and socialize and explore on our time off. The perfect opportunity to network with like-minded people. 😍 Let's talk about the price 💰 Here's what's included ✅ - 🏡 All accommodation, shared bedrooms (2 nights in Malta & 6 nights in Gozo) - Accommodation with pool (needed its own mention 😇) - 🚤 Boat trip to Gozo & back - WIFI throughout the house (stronger in working areas) - 🥙 Local food experience & wine tour - Lifelong memories and connections! Here's what's NOT included in the trip ❌ - Flight tickets - Daily transportation (we can either use the bus around Gozo or rent a car/ATV) - Food (We will be in a remote location with access to a bbq and a fully stocked kitchen. There are also a few options to eat out.) - Additional Activities My goal is to have a lovely escape with a mixture of adventure and some laid-back days. I get along with both 😎) A little bit about your getaway 🏝 Gozo is Malta's tranquil sister island, small enough to discover the scenic spots, valleys, and sunset views after a day of work. The average temperature during this time is 14 °C with a mixture of rainy & sunny days, making it easy to adventure around. 🏝️ I'll happily show you around my favourite spots, help take photos, and introduce you to local foods. Hannah is an incredible trip leader! She always had a plan, and a backup plan for every activity. Thanks to her, our group got to experience nearly every square inch of Malta and Gozo, while not feeling overwhelmed by the itinerary. I'm grateful for this experience and thrilled to have walked away with some incredible friendships as well.
Welcome Day ☀️ As you'll be flying into Malta, our trip will start in our capital city, Valletta. I'll show you around the historical capital and we can get to know each other over brunch and drinks before making our way to Gozo. We'll spend our first night in the historic city! The next morning, we will catch a 45 min ferry from Sliema to Gozo. The ferry will give you a glimpse of the Grand Harbour and the Maltese coastline. It'll be a short journey from the Gozo Ferry Terminal to our apartment, where we'll be spending the majority of our time.

Day 2
Settling in & exploring the island ☀️ After our first night in Gozo, we'll go on a day trip around Gozo where I'll show you the gems of the island and we'll taste some local food. Gozo is quite small so this adventure will help you get your bearings on the island and offer an idea of how we can spend our time after work. A few of my favourite spots include: - Wied il-Mielaħ, a rock formation resembling a window - Wied Il-Għasri, a narrow creek cutting through stone - Xwejni Salt Pans - Tal-Mixta Cave, looking over a beautiful orange beach known as "Ramla il-Ħamra" - Gozo Inland Sea and previous spot for the Azure Window We'll also start the day with a visit to a traditional Maltese vineyard where we'll experience a food tour with local delicacies. 😍

Day 2-8
What to expect from our co-working time together 😊 We'll be staying at a gorgeous 300-year-old villa with 2 pools and lots of common areas to hang out or work. The villa is located in the heart of Gozo, nearby the bus terminus, citadel, and a few eating spots. Here we'll start our co-working portion of the trip, we'll have similar working hours so that we can make the most of our time off together. ☀️ Depending on our preferences, we can start our day by having breakfast together, an early walk, or doing morning yoga on the terrace. 🌃 Our evenings can either include cozy days at the apartment where we can cook together, have drinks in the hot tub, and soak up the night sky. (Bonus: Gozo is quite rural, so we might see lots of stars if we're lucky!) 🌃 We can also explore areas around the island. Here are a few ideas to get you excited: - Walk around the Citadel fortification, the capital of Gozo dating back to the 15th century. This offers a full view of the island and is lit up in the evening. - A visit to Ta' Pinu Church, also dating back to the 15th century. - Beautiful and quiet sunset view from an old lighthouse on a hill, showing beautiful views of the island. - Visiting and eating out at nearby fishing villages Xlendi or Marsamxett. - Picnic at the Mixta Cave, eating the local Ftira and enjoying the view of Ramla Bay. - Popping by a few of my favourite thrifting spots and antique stores There's of lovely things we can do on the serene island which allow us to soak in the company and our surroundings, allowing us still to feel refreshed for the next day. By the end of the week, we will have fully emersed ourselves in what Gozo has to offer!

Day 8
It's the weekend again! 🎉 We'll start our morning with a short hike along the coastline of the island, with the infamous Comino Island on our side, leading to a private beach. After soaking up the sun, we'll make our way back to Malta for our final night together. Malta is where life is, so it's fitting for us to enjoy our last night together and enjoy our last evening together at a few of the great bars in Sliema or Valletta. 🎉 We'll end the evening in an apartment in Sliema, making it easier for your commute to the airport if you have your flight the next day. 🛫

Our final day and heartfelt goodbyes ❤️ After our night out on the island, we'll wake up in Valletta, the heart of the island. Depending on how you're feeling that day, we could organize a trip to Mdina, known as the Silent City. It's also featured in Game of Thrones if you're a fan (fun fact! Malta has a lot of films filmed here during the past years, so there might be quite a few familiar places!) We can alternatively have a relaxed brunch, taking in the sea one last time before we part ways! ☀️
