Alta

Day 1
In Norwegian, Eventyr means both 'adventure' and 'fairy tale.' This is the perfect word to describe Alta, as it is a fantastic place for active adventures in the mountains, forests and fjords that are reminiscent of fairy tale landscapes. Based on your time of arrival to Alta, we meet up with the rest of the group for dinner later in the night and then discuss the trip plans for the next few days with the rest of the group. Fun Fact: Alta located in the Far North of Norway (70 degrees North) is also known as "The Northern Lights City" that features rock carvings from over five thousand years back and also hosts Europe's longest and toughest sledge dog race (The Finnmarkslöpet).
