Do you want luxury? Why not go to the fashion capital of the world for fine food, luxurious fashion, and some of the oldest perfumeries in the world! We will start this "chic adventure" with the city of Nice. Nice is a city that sits on the Mediterranean Sea with rocky beaches. Great for sunbathing and swimming if you can stand walking on the rocks. (As someone who swims like a fish, I am determined to find a sand beach. Stay tuned.). There are also a lot of markets. We will take a day trip to Monaco, but you most likely will not be able to afford anything there 😁 just go and look and see the changing of the guards at Monaco palace. After Nice, we will travel to the perfume capital of the world called Grasse. We will tour 2 perfume factories and museums telling an almost 300 years of perfume history of France. And of course you can likely buy perfume onsite. Fun fact. Grasse used to be a producer of leather, and perfume was introduced to the town to cover the odor of leather that covered the city. Hi everyone! My name is Jai. I began my travels in 1994 on a 2-week school trip to Spain, Italy, France, and Switzerland. Then in 1999, I had my first solo trip to New York City. Then in 2001, I had my first solo overseas trip. I have been living outside the United States since 2018.
We will rent to share department and I will try my best to get everybody in their own room if we have an apartment. We will have a kitchen so we can cook or have some meals there to save on expenses. And most of all, we would just have privacy with our own group. We will also rent an apartment for one night in another city so we can be closer to the perfumeries.

Nice
Day 1-4
We will arrive at our apartment, and on our first day we will sightsee to nearby places and have a meal together at the flat or go to a local café to get to know each other. We will take a day trip to Monaco and see the buildings and look around. Hopefully we can do some beach too!

Villefranche-sur-Mer
Day 4
This is a beach town about a 15-minute train ride headed towards Monaco. It is just an option if we want a beach with smaller pebbles and even sand, so it's more comfortable to walk. Also, more locals go here for this reason.

Grasse
Day 4-5
We will spend a day in Grasse, so we can see both perfumeries. Probably, we will want to shop for perfume after smelling it for 24 hours 🙂 After the last perfumerie, we will head back to Nice, where we will part ways. But I hope to see you on another adventure!

Monaco
Day 5
Monaco is the richest country on Earth. Once you go there, you will see the evidence in the form of yachts, cars, and villas. Every other building is a casino, including the one that has been shown in James Bond films. There is also a car museum filled with luxury cars owned by the prince himself. Every day at 11:55am, we can see the changing of the guards in Palace Square.
